Personally, I run Milwaukee and Dewalt. I am not going to be persuaded to change my entire collection, because Flex is shown in videos being slightly faster. As tools break or need replaced, I’ll certainly consider Flex. Our consumer overlords want people buying new stuff and do so by making people feel their current setup is inferior. Before I had Milwaukee and Dewalt, I had no tools, so I’m certainly thankful for what I have. I think it’s hard to go wrong with any brand. Run what you Brung.

New? Flex has been around since 1922. They invented the angle grinder in 1954.

It’s a very nice commercial. Why not back up these claims with some side by side testing Against Milwaukee, Makita, & Dewalt.. I would also like to see how these perform after one year/1400 hours of use.

As someone who works in a trade ignore everyone and buy what you prefer because 99% of them bought a tool because of someone else they never tried anything other than what they got and it'll stay that way. Always be open minded i love Milwaukee but ive seen videos on flex and they look great and yes i also love the color and technology thankfully im young so i get the hype around flex and I'm planning on getting a flex drill 😂😂😂

I just stick with what I’m already invested in, not gonna spend all the money for the exact tools I already have

I know you are mostly on the jobsite but I seriously appreciate you being one of the few folks talking about Flex tools and showing them off in videos, giving your honest feedback, and not just driving lagbolts endlessly in weird races.

I'm 46 years old . Been a commercial carpenter since 2000 and residential 4 years before that. My only go to was porter cable . I still have all of them but I now only buy FLex . More than happy and I'm not looking back other than using my old tools for memories

FLEX is the company that came onto the scene to be the number one and second best don't cut it. They aren't afraid of a Face Off or 2, not afraid to pull up the FLEX tow truck with Barnabie and Mike the plumber & Repro Milwaukee gen 4 Throne or drive the Hurst with DeWalt & their Stack lithium to their funeral

lol agreed, I did carpenter 1yr in the union and maaan I had never met so many angry ppl. I’m 32yrs I got into the trade a bit too late to be an apprentice and to deal with with ppl that can’t control their attitude. I’m a truck driver now. Although a lot of old timers here still in this industry but they are much more respectful.

Not hating flex looks nice 👍 it's all up to the buyer and what they need the tool for diy I would say flex is over kill there's plenty of options for DIY homeowner out of good quality I do like portable rolling system I I personally have the DeWalt tough system 1.0 works for what I need it for I do building maintenance so I don't need construction grade tools all the time there are tools that I use infrequently so in that case a corded option works for me I own DeWalt 18v nicad tools that sit I have a USA made Porter Cable reciprocating saw skill jigsaw when Bosch owned them a skillsaw circular saw 13 amps works well for my needs I just use high quality blades I own a Bosch idh-182 had it for years my go to at work at a 12 v Bosch drill/driver I got a few vintage tools from Milwaukee black and decker when it was made well

Flex tools are really nice. I just hope they extend their line up!!!
