Hey, im a GM Yi OTP and FYI master yi does not lose his ultimate passive when its on cooldown like the video mentions. Flickerblades is a very niche item on him only good vs stuff like trynda, kayle, that you can keep hitting them in their ults to get your Q back again to stall more time Besides that, its not that great for him, you would rather way more get more damage just to kill your target faster to reset faster, not needing flickerblades

Nah theoreticaly it's broken on Master Yi but on LoLalytics, it's no where near the highest winrate build. Cause champion like Master Yi need so many more thing to work well not just some cooldown reset items.

The voice actor is just from other space place, he's a real cool voice actor!

Correction: Yi's ult passive isn't locked behind his ult cooldown since it's a passive, it's locked behind scoring a takedown.

It’s a big cheat for champions who don’t really want to invest into cdr.

Flickerblades are so fun on Briar, you can get up to a 100% W uptime, and Q stun people multiple times during a fight, it's a wonderful item to build 2nd or 3rd, but weirdly not on crit briar, because crit briar usually kills people before it'd be of any use so you use it on brusier.

Try it with urgot 3rd iteam it make him have infinty e and Q bc his W none stop

Just get this on Volibear and literally become the bear god

Flickerblade is a luxury for most of the champions you mentioned. Those champions need other things a lot more than a really expensive item that doesn't give ad anymore. The effect is great, but you are overstating its effectiveness since it only works if you can actually auto attack to make the breakpoints work and without the ad component anymore you need a lot of autos to make up the difference in a really meta that's as bursty as it is. You are better off building some cool down reduction with core stats you need rather than buying an expensive hyper specific item that has low offensive AND defensive output on the majority of champions you listed with the added restriction of having to auto attack to get the benefit. Cdr isn't at a premium anymore and with the recent addition of the legend cd mastery its really trying to crowd in on a space that has a lot of answers already. Champions that could realistically invest as a 3rd item is pretty much just Lucian and xayah, MAYBE kaisa if the stars align composition wise (3+ melee) and even then it's generally better to go something else for consistency, recycling their rotation is a nice thing but not necessary if you can just kill them ouright in the first rotation because you built damage. If you can't build it while even/behind without coinflipping at losing odds, it's hard to hype it up more than what it is. The highs aren't anything to write off, but realistically you are losing to shopkeep if you are rushing this in any situation other than a hard winning one on most of the champions mentioned (volibear shyvana xinzhao yi nocturne to point at a few). Honestly at that point it doesn't matter as much, does it? Apologies if this comes off negative it's not my intent, but I do want to point out what I see on the other side of the fence is all.

Ravenous, shojin, liandry, essence reaver, lucidity boots, flickerblade shyvana. Haste into the 100 makes flickerblades provide diminishing returns but man does it feel good getting just that little extra cd peeled into a true urf sensation.

easy fix is to all of these is to make it so all these abilities start their cd after their effect ends.

Flickerblade Sylas -- build it as 3rd item. His passive will usually give you 3 AAs with 125% his base AS and then it gets your full combo almost back off CD entirely

Using Navori on Ashe gives you so much vision score with her E ability. You get so much info with the bird reveal so much of the map and when your just attacking things your normal cooldown would just simply be around 20ish seconds downtime which is very short. Very great for the mid game when your trying to track objectives or just revealing anywhere really. Using this on champions that stick onto you like Leona, Volibear or really any engaging champions with CC and you will almost never get away. You might just say that they're a tank or a support and they dont need it but when you look at how champions get rheir abilities up quicker than you think you will then realize just how ridiculous it becomes. Expect a Yasuo to have like a 20second Windwall? Nope he will get it back in like 7-8 seconds with atleast a downtime of 3-5 seconds. Forget the stat it gives just take advantage of the effect, like how Serpent Fang is meant for Assassins but still shreds shields even if used by a support.

Voli is amazing with this item for sure. If lethal temp was still around voli would unironically be overpowered as a side laner. His AP build already gives him incredible damage and attack speed, adding navori into it would make it disgusting.

Navori is broken on Kog'maw ! Kog'maw players -> actually playing ap because lethal don't exist anymore

You can get infinite blind duration on teemo to counter autoattackers or point and click users. made a tf top quit the game

The downside of buying it on ad tf tho is ure kinda just reducing 1 important cooldown

The item is really good with Kog'Maw. I also pair the item with Essence Reaver and the game becomes an URF scenario.

The only AD champ that abuses it is Sivir, the item is completely niche right now, too few stats for a mid passive

i love kogmaw but even with this item it feels like torture playing him lmao IF you survive being dove and getting malled in lane for 15min, you can maybe die first in a mid game fight and lose pre30min !

Flickerblade on Yasuo it's bullshit the windwall cd it's too long + take the fact he is a melee + you need to hit like 8-9 times with q (dodge able) and auto + cc in tf where as kogmaw it's a range + range buff from w so you can put more aa

yea wtf i also thought why are they not making the item passive only procc on crit. They could just fix this stupid shit with 1 change. Make it only work on crit but make the refund like 5% higher. Riot aka Phreak wanted ADC privilege? They got it. Yeah, keep designing busted items for the adc and see how other classes take advantsge of that since the item makes more sense for a fighter than an adc who rely mostly on their basic attacks rather than their skills

I cannot comprehend why riot makes these design decisions without considering which champions would be broken or annoying in the first place, like many players right off the bat would understand exactly what would happen because they play certain champions, it seems like Riot doesn't play their own game in the first place. Just from looking at the passive description for Flickerblade I can tell immediately that it WILL be abused.
