About Season 2:
Five warned his family (so, so many times) that using his powers to escape from Vanya’s 2019 apocalypse was risky. Well, he was right - the time jump scatters the siblings in time in and around Dallas, Texas. Over a three year period. Starting in 1960. Some, having been stuck in the past for years, have built lives and moved on, certain they’re the only ones who survived. Five is the last to land, smack dab in the middle of a nuclear doomsday, which - spoiler alert! - turns out is a result of the group’s disruption of the timeline (déjà vu, anyone?). Now the Umbrella Academy must find a way to reunite, figure out what caused doomsday, put a stop to it, and return to the present timeline to stop that other apocalypse. All while being hunted by a trio of ruthless Swedish assassins. But seriously, no pressure or anything.
About THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY:
On the same day in 1989, forty-three infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven are adopted by a billionaire who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his "children" to save the world. Now, the six surviving members reunite upon the news of their father's passing and must work together to solve a mystery surrounding his death. But the estranged family begins to come apart due to their divergent personalities and abilities, not to mention the imminent threat of a global apocalypse.
The Umbrella Academy is based on the comic book series created and written by Gerard Way, illustrated by Gabriel Bá, and published by Dark Horse Comics. The show is produced by Universal Content Productions for Netflix, with Steve Blackman serving as executive producer and showrunner, and additional EPs Jeff F. King, Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, Gerard Way, and Gabriel Bá.

did u notice that when dave enters the bus, the bus driver mentioned the word marine, meaning dave enlisted to be a marine !! that means he didnt enlist for the army which means that he wont be fighting with klaus on those hills

When Lila breaks the car window in s2e2, Diego goes around to the other side and says “you know the other window was open” -a play off of season 1 when Diego breaks the glass to get into Harold Jenkin’s house and Five comes up and says “you know the door was unlocked” 😂

His power is Trajectory Manipulation, so yeah, he can change the trajectory of those bullets. He did it in the first Episode of season 2 too.

Oreb Napoleon Diego can manipulate moving objects in mid air. Which is why his knives can go different directions. He can do it with any object mostly metal but he likes using knives

👉I have a theory please read:👈 Their dad has spent their entire lives bashing them and their self esteem to the ground so bad none of them have any confidence what so ever. But when Diego really wanted to stop that wall of bullets he did, he had the confidence in himself to do it. I mean look at Vanya and what she was able to do when she had confidence in herself. Allot of times when they have confidence in themselves and their family their powers seem to double or even find new shit they didn’t even know they could do. I think Number 5 giving good ole dad all that info I think good ole dad will treat Sparrow Academy wayyyy better and let them use their powers at their full potential.

Diego is one of the reasons for the new timeline, because he’s messed up his mum and dads relationship Reginald probably goes down a darker path leading to the new academy and also seeing what his children grew up to be he is probably disappointed with them and becomes much stricter with these other kids. As for Harlan, something tells me that he might have something to do with the origin of all the babies being born on the same day, either that or he grows up to be a villain in the next series

I agree, it was a long wait for season 2,but it was worth it, this season blew me away, it was so detailed and the camera shots were amazing, especially when the flock of birds grouped together to make an umbrella in one of the intros, it was really amazing. Now we have to wait for season 3 but if it's as good as season 2 then I'm happy to wait.

I might of interpreted it wrong however during the dinner scene in episode 6 Diego stutters after his father belittles him. He stutters on the word "wrong" similar to his issues as a child. It may have just been Diego being upset but I thought it was interesting to note.

I got that too, I think that his father brings out the worst in him, and no matter how much he works on all the things his father did to him (like his stutter that Grace helped him overcome) his father will always have a grasp on him because in my opinion Reggie was the worst to Diego and will always make him feel worthless and small.

I still think he didn't "walk to the light", instead because of his action he started disappearing because his timeline was starting to get re-written in one where he wasn't dead, hence why he was at the end of the episode with the Sparrow academy

I enjoyed Season 1. I absolutely LOVED season 2. So many hart-felt moments that got me in the feels. Every character got to shine. I was so gutted by Elliott's fate. I was strangely happy with the final Swede's ending. I'm so impressed that the show managed to improve over the first season.

Why is no one talking about Allison and Klaus's friendship, it was one of my favourite relationships this season, also I want to know what happened to Dave after he enlisted and I kind of wanted more scenes with Klaus and Dave this season but oh well.

Karen Griffith perhaps in season 3 the siblings go back to the 60s again to try and repair the timeline that caused the sparrow academy. then, since dave joined the marines instead of the army, he survives and runs into klaus around the same time they met in season 1. then, klaus brings dave back to the future and they live happily ever after :) i’m sure it won’t be that easy, but that’s what i want bc they deserve to be happy

How about the time when Klaus told Ben that he didn’t have Kool-aid ready for his Destiny’s Children? I think that is a reference to Jim Jone’s cult which brutally ended in hundreds of death in 1978 - when the cult leader forced members to drink a poisoned flavored beverage.

The serum is what gave him the ability to speak, it's also the serum used to save Luther and made him part gorilla.

That would be really interesting! I didn't consider that he was referring to Alison because she said "It's happening again" (as in the timeline where JFK is assassinated) and Klaus' responded "Oh Jackie" - so I thought he was making a comment to Jackie Kennedy out of sympathy, much like an audience would say "Poor Jackie" when watching documentaries and footage of the assassination.

I agree, the family aspect of the show really stands out in my opinion. They are more than just a team, they love each other and care for each other, I'm not saying that the Avengers don't care about each other, I mean that the Hargreeves have been together since birth, they have a bond that I've never seen in anything else. An example is when Vanya went to help Harlan and her family came with her, although they said before that Harlan wasn't their main priority, they went anyway for their sister. I can't wait for season 3 and I really hope Ben will be apart of the family again.

That shouldnt be the case, the old 5 was sent to 2019 hence not affecting the past. Him being sent back merely assured that the Umbrella Academy in 1963 continues to exist by having the events of season 1 occur when the old 5 returned there.

I also noticed that so I have a possible answer: we know that luther’s superpower it’s super strength,while he was trying to save allison his super strength could have helped because the air he was giving to Allison it could have a lot of potential to brake the rumor but how? We know that Allison’s power always work and lila can copy it,well she maybe can copy it but not 100% like the original owners of the powers that’s she is copying maybe that’s why it wasn’t strong enough and Luther could save Allison.

And I wonder what happened to Ben for him to be there. Was he possibly reincarnated, and didn't recognize anyone from the Umbrella Academy? Or possibly he does recognize them, but knows he shouldn't say anything. That being said, maybe Hargreeve's recognizes them too..??

@@elijahreid9459 pretty sure there's no mother in the new timeline since grace left Hargreeve's before their relationship developed further, making it so he never built the robot in the first place... which could also explain why Ben acted the way he did. Because there was no mother in this timeline, the kids didn't learn to be kind and that's why the new Ben acts like an ass. And as for him being "reincarnated", i think that since the Umbrella team was never created he never died in that timeline.

Great season and an excellent collection of Easter eggs and hints! Such attention to detail indeed, and especially in those who managed to catch ‘em all! Also, with regards to the crop circles conspiracy theory mentioned in 09:00 , after Vanya sent out that first circular blast of energy while escaping the Swedes at the corn fields (and they certainly reminded me of The Children of the Corn), the show panned out to reveal what looked like a crop circle.

I have a theory.... HEAR ME OUT Remember that when you go to another time, your actions there will definitely have an effect on the timeline which they were on (the usual happenings they had experienced), when they went back to 1963, their actions had effects on the timeline..... since they pushed themselves to talk to Reginald Hargreeves, I think Reg didn't like them.... i dont know for what reason, but he seems to not have interest on them, remember that the 6 told Regie all their details: their name as a group -UMBRELLA ACADEMY, their names, birthdate and powers.... i think when October 1, 1989 came up, Regi already had a list on who to NOT adopt.... I mean, if Regi knew that he was going to adopt the 6 (since he didnt know that Ben was present at that time), and knew all about them already and DIDNT LIKE THEM, of course he wouldnt continue adopting them. Thats why there is NO Umbrella Academy, only SPARROW ACADEMY... because Regi adopted 7 OTHER CHILDREN who were special, and not them... Ben not being acknowledged in their "light dinner" was the reason why he was IN the Sparrow Academy, and that makes sense!!! Right??? So 2019 had a version of Umbrella Academy from the timeline... AND the original Umbrella Academy from their timeline... which I guess produces the psychosis maybe.... so I guess they'll fight for a place idk hahaha. But thats for sure, the original umbrella academy members from the NEW timeline weren't adopted and are with their parents around the world... Does that make sense? Why there's no Umbrella but Sparrow Academy? 😖😖😖😖

What I do wonder is how on earth does he know which baby not to pick? Because they didn’t have the name they have now as a baby (bc their mom gave them their names), he didn’t know where they where born so Reggie couldn’t have based his selection on that either, all 43 special baby’s where born on the SAME DAY andddd in the beginning of season 1 they say Reggie could adopt 7 out of 43, does that mean the other parents refused? How did Reggie convince them then in the new timeline? I know! Like they were played for laughs, but imagine being on an assassination team with your triplet brothers who you are so close to that everyone basically treats you as a single unit, and then two of your brothers are just brutally and m abruptly murdered right in front of you? Like damn... that was big of him to agree to lay down his gun in the end, because didn’t he think Five murdered one of his brothers, and Alison *definitely* murdered the other one. I wish we’d gotten more development from them. I felt like they were positioned in the same role as Hazel and Chacha were last season, but the writers didn’t give us enough time to get to know and likr them like they did with Hazel and Chacha.

He figured out that they'd been manipulated by the Handler when he found the canister in the trash. Normally it would be returned but his brother was too dumb to realize this. If he'd shown his brother the canister, they'd all be alive. Once he killed the Handler, he killed the person responsible for his siblings' deaths. I did feel for him. The look on his face when he's strangling his brother and can't stop himself. Just heartbreaking. Allison can be brutal. I didn't think they were actually supposed to be triplets though.

I'm looking forward to season 3, I have a strong feeling that Klaus has much more abilities because Reginald, whatever he is, told him he'd barely scratched the surface. Most people let that go when they saw him summon armies of dead soldiers and bring Ben "too life" so he can help his siblings, but that can't be it. I also have a feeling that Ben will return, I mean he helped Klaus so much with making important decisions for himself and Klaus needs a new "ghost bitch"🥺 but if it's not Ben I think it would be a deceased member of the sparrow academy, there has to be at least one 😌

In 4:55, I think the reason why Diego landed perfectly was a foreshadowing of his skill of manipulating objects in motion. It was revealed that he can curve the motion path of his knives but with the fight with the Commission, he controlled the bullets (which are moving) into another direction. Which gives us another feature of his skill. Plus the opening scene of s2, he tossed around in midair controlling the bullets to thr opposite direction and landed perfectly. He was able to do this because him and the bullets are all in motion.

I just wanna say how at the end Dave did enlist but he enlisted for the Marines instead(ref to the part when the man called dave marine as he was getting on the bus). Which means he actually did(partly) believe what Klaus said and there is a possibility of him not being sent to Vietnam and not dying(maybe). So although it did create a whole new timeline which explains why 2019 might be different, I'm positive that the Dave character might re-appear at some point in season 3(hopefully) Just saying bc this is the 3rd 10+mins video ive watched covering the 2nd season yet no one mentioned it.

I noticed the hotel room number 217 from the shining book
