It landed in Lisbon this week after delivery from Airbus. I managed to film it on it´s first landing in Lisbon as an official TAP plane! It starts flying to Brasil this December

I would say this sounds more like a Trent 1000 on a Boeing 787. Just slightly higher!

The Trent 7000 is basically Trent 1000 with bleed-air system and with several technologies taken from the A350's Trent XWB.

It was a test flight....only 10 people on the plane..invited...the first ordinary flights start in November.

If they would just roll out full flat bed service to Salvador, I would always fly TAP from the UK, to Lisbon, then on to Salvador, purely because it is logical too. The problem is at the moment, is that Lisbon - Salvador route does not appear to have a flat bed Business Class service. Shame. Wish they would sort it out at TAP.

I see that two crews were busy with some on board aviation testing equipment, so this flight was like a test flight ? I'm not that good in judging, but what I see from this video is that the A330-Neo has no significant changes compared to the previous A330-300 ?

the changes I know are in the engine that is now neo (new engine options) saves fuel and can travel more and as it is a new aircraft has to go through several tests in the air, airbus has the test model but this is already the final model so it is that they are also doing the tests to see if this is okay

At 1:35 you can see that the aircraft still has its test registration as it wasn’t delivered officially to TAP yet. As the aircraft is used for some tests these seats seem to be used for observing several parameters of the flight!

this isnt a actual trip report if im not mistaken, as by simplyaviation, this flight was flown by airbus pilots, had a airbus flight number, also it had still airbus testing equipment on board. The title trip report is alitttle misleading

I know this was a test flight or media trip, but the quality of the cabin, and especially the food looked really bad. For a new aircraft the standard of the interior was very poor!
