This is an intelligent horse, he is already visioning what he is going to do to the classic field in two days... He has the straightest back legs I've seen in a Thoroughbred, most are a little cow hocked. I can't wait... You go boy...

His asst trainer Juan is very special. A beautiful smile I have watched a couple of videos of him talking about how he gets up every morning excited to be with him. They say he has big kind eyes. Their job is to make sure he is happy and relaxed John Sadler said. Hes a great character this horse I loved watching the grooms with him wiping him down he was angling his head like Imma gonna bite you several times and baring his teeth but he didnt mean it and kicking out his back leg oh I am going to kick you too. He is so spirited its a joy to watch him. Calm and confident. I love watching him walk and then stop to look around and how everyone lets him do that its a thing he does one day his groom lifted his chin towards him as if to say “look he’s doing it again “. He looks other wordly he is so beautiful when he stands with his ears forward and his head high watching something intently.

What a horse. If not for his injuries he would have been a solid triple crown contender.

Will see..There is no faster horse leaving the gate than Life is Good. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a horse leave the gate as quickly. He trains like Mike Tyson. Question is who will give up first. Which rider will try to save some for the stretch run. Should be one hell of a race, or do they beat other down, and another claims the money. It's Horse Racing, things happen.

How many lengths will Flightline win by, and who will be 2nd and 3rd? Those are the only questions I have about this race.

APahroah12 - Do you know the name of the horse companion that is out there next to Flightline? Do they stay together all the time?
@apharoah12
@apharoah12 Жыл бұрын
I do not. I would guess that it is Sadler's stable pony, so he's probably with him daily.

What's the deal with the rider taking feet out of stirrups and kicking him and pulling on his mouth?
@apharoah12
@apharoah12 Жыл бұрын
Just giving him his cue to go. Letting him know it’s time to start. I know a lot of non horse people don’t understand why riders do that (in any situation involving horses). It’s not them being mean, it’s the way horses communicate. When a field of horses are together, they communicate with eachother through biting and kicking at each other, that’s the way they talk, you have to communicate the way they interpret things. So you give him a couple light kicks and light squeezes and he knows he’s good to go.

Not a happy horse, ears back & tail swishing...
@apharoah12
@apharoah12 Жыл бұрын
Ears back is not always a bad thing. Especially when he was on the track, he’s just listening for his rider’s instructions. Also he’s got a lot of media following him everywhere he goes so he’s pointing his ears anywhere he hears sound from the cameras clicking. Now that I’ve watched him for several days you can see how much of an intelligence level he has. He stops and pays attention to everything.
