Add the Whistler to the list - D213 scores a direct hit! That horn is loud up close.. See 'Andania' at Chesterfield on-route to Barrow Hill for the HNRC team to complete scheduled maintenance on this fine looking loco.
Also seen is recent GBRf addition 66308 with a rake of rails from Scunthorpe Trent TC headed to Eastleigh.. Plus 66780 in a rush and other locos also.

Only seen a working class 40 once; D200 on farewell run to NRM at Doncaster in 1988.

hi, love the class 40, grew up with these locos as a child, so that makes it no1 in Top of the Pops for me. coming in at no 2 is electric loco 20.0003 of the southen region

Well captured. I’d have thought it would be the loco’s owners, Andania Engineering Ltd, who’ll be performing the maintenance on their loco at Barrow Hill, rather than HNRC?

On the opening part that wall is were everyone went to trainspot in the 70's and early 80's before they closed it because of being to dangerous
