The Flip Litter Box gets its name from its double-hinged, magnetic lid which effortlessly opens with a finger and gratifyingly shuts with a snap. It is designed to provide easy access for scooping and cleaning, while offering three privacy positions to accommodate any cat's preference. The top-mounted lid permits a tall, seamless, liquid-tight base. It neatly houses a recycled paperboard liner for a tidy litter solution. Update: Flip is now shipped with a reusable tarp liner.

I just received this and it is a nice box but I was disappointed with the off white color and the matt finish. I expected the glossy bright white finish as the other Modkat boxes. :( I wonder why this one box is different?

Is this a less glossy material than the top entry box ?

Yes it is, matt finish and not the bright white color of the top entry boxes, it is made of a different material.. I got this on eBay for about half the price, it was a sample in wonderful shape. It's very large and a surprise to myself I actually like the lining, though I don't think I will spring for a new one when the time comes. This stuff is all so expensive.
