Nice concept. Nice execution. Only advice. Do yourself a favor and replace your saw blades, or at the very least, get some liquid laundry detergent and soak your blades in a diluted mixture and take a brush to it. It will lessen the blade burn on your material.

When welding, Personally I think you should just go straight slowly while watching your pool size behind you rather than doing small circles along the weld to create a stronger bond unless you're using TIG. I used to use the same technique then later got corrected by an instructor that they may look nice, but they're not that secure. I thought I would pass along the message. :)

What are the chances the weight would eventually break the wall and come right off? There's no brackets or anything supporting the table. I'm thinking of making similar table but with brackets as support.. I'd prefer floating desk like the way you made it, but I think it's risky? Would love to hear your take on it as you're the expert. Liked the way you tried to bring your initial idea to fruition. But there's a few things that were both scary, and things I would have definitely done differently. Idea is nice. Execution, not so much. A bit of a voice over or something would've been nice to hear what you're doing as well instead of the really crappy music. And while the end product looks okay, I'd be scared to use it. Doesn't seem like it's able to support a whole lot of weight. The computer and such might be fine, but adding a bit more and I'd be afraid to rip out the wall. (Say someone would try to sit on it.) The steel frame is nice, but doesn't add much here, it seems.

Excellent job but not very practically for the average DYI weekend guy or gal. How many of us can weld steel into a frame like this? If you would have simply built your desk out one more feet on both ends you could have used those side walls for structural support and still keep the floating appearance.

for safety sake anyone watching this video who isn't a wood worker, maybe if you're just a starting diyer please dont make table cut saws with no riving knife especially when you're ripping. Kickback is a real thing, and the riving knife prevents that, his saw has a slot for one he just pulled it out probably because he wasn't using the correct push sticks.
