Fabulous video! I love to listen to audio books (and flosstube) while I'm sewing or stitching. Such a great way to get in a good book. I find that I can also listen to books that I normally would not take the time to sit down and read from paper (basically anything nonfiction). Seeing your progress on Serenity makes me want to kit it up amd start it right away! So pretty!

Hi hun- yes! It’s so good listening to a good book and I also watch/listen to flosstube videos as well- a great way to catch up with crafting. You should totally start serenity - it’s such a good stitch. Xx 🫶🏻🧵

Beautiful samplers. I will definitely check out your video about using dmc over dyes. Kristin Hannah’s books are fabulous but very intense and can suck the life at of you. Ink Blood sister scribe by Emma Torzs, Band of sisters: The Women of Smith college by Lauren Willig and Educated by Tara Westover. All on Audible ❤️ enjoy.

I too listen to audiobooks while stitching. I enjoy the author JA Jance, just finished A Single Thread -sorry the author fled my brain. The Novel Stitcher just started a book club if that would interest you. We have about 6 weeks to read book we’ve voted on, then there will be zoom discussions. I aspire to stitch as well as you! ❤️

Hi Rosana! So good to see you today. You are so pretty and your sweet personality comes right through the screen. I am waiting to receive my Serenity booklet in the mail. It seems to be taking a long time to get here. You showed American Welcome, and I am half way through a finish. A fun stitch. How is your mom doing, is she still stitching too? Right now I have a bad cold so I haven’t been stitching at all. It’s funny I haven’t had a cold in so long, I forgot how bad a cold can be. Anyway I loved watching you and everything you do is simply beautiful! Thank you for sharing with us. Have a great day!🌸

Hello… I sent this message to you on IG, but I’m not sure it went through, so I thought I’d try here too. Hello … I’m so happy to have found your account and flosstube videos. After stepping away from cross stitch for 20+ years, I’ve started again and I’m so enjoying a whole new world of cross stitching!! Your projects are so inspiring and I find myself with an ongoing list of pieces I want to do. One thing you e shared is how you start a project in the top left corner. I’m getting ready to start a couple new pieces and would like to try this. When you have a chart with multiple pages, do you piece them together into one large chart or do you follow by page? I’ve always started in the middle and have pieced the chart into one piece in the past, but am intrigued by trying something new. I’ve also joined the Homespun fb group based on your recommendation. Thanks for sharing your love of cross stitching 🤍

Hi Christine - thanks so much for joining and for messaging me here. I do my best to respond to each comment on IG but it can become a little hectic at times. I use an app on my IPhone where I have the pattern there. This gives me the flexibility to go between pages - mark off what I have done, etc. Oh, you will love the HomeSpun group within Facebook - such a great group of stitchers. I will put a short video together and hope to share maybe next week as an extra and show exacting how I do this. :) Let me know if you have any other questions hun.

I’m sure keeping up with messages/comments can be so time consuming, so thank you for responding. A short video would be great because the idea of this seems a little daunting because there’s just something about having that paper pattern. I’ve just started a new sampler today and for the first time, I started in the top left which was fun and different! Have a great day 🤍
