Beth, I love your videos. Love seeing all the different things you get up to. Looking forward to your blog of your trip to Germany, how exciting! It's great to see you're learning French. Both of my kids are bilingual. They've attended French immersion school since kindergarten. My husband also speaks French as he was born and raised in New Brunswick which is a bilingual province in Canada. I on the other hand learned some French in high school and university but I've never really spoken it well. Happy stitching and I look forward to your next video.

+Primitive Stitcher Thank you so much! I will definitely vlog as much of the Germany trip as possible. I'll be spending a few days inside a cave/music venue working backstage so I'll have to be discreet haha. It's going to be a blast, though. Happy stitching to you, too! =)

Haha! That intro! Twin Mermaids is looking great! The shading on the skin looks so good even without the backstitch to define everything. OMG you are going to have such a blast in Germany! It's a shame you won't be there longer. I've been a couple times and there's just so much to take in! Can't wait to see what you film ;) Oh gosh, Jack is so cute, love when they cat-loaf! I only took French in high school so I don't remember much, but dang girl! For teaching yourself you're on a roll! You sound great :)

+the evergreen needle ahh, merci beaucoup! The French studies are fun but at some point I have to start talking to other people or I'll feel like a poser haha. Very excited about the Germany trip. Never been there before so I will be recording as much as possible when I'm not working. I'll give Jack your compliments. Thank you!

True story, the Canadian public school system teaches Parisian French not québécois French. That's right all that mandatory French in school (9 years for me) and I'd be fine in Paris but screwed in Montreal.

+Sadie Ruin Bizarre! I wonder what the rationale behind *that* one was. "We don't want our citizens to be sneered at in the off-chance they go to Paris and order poutine"?
