I have had a devastating back injury and cannot stitch for the foreseeable future so I am living vicariously through your stitching and loving every minute of it! A few weeks ago you also inspired me to pick up ACOTAR and I was able to start 3 stitches inspired by the books before the injury, so I can identify with "Tayloring" your projects towards other passions.

I love the knitting and quilting content. I am also multicraftual and love doing all the things. I love the way you adapt your hobbies into your love of Taylor Swift. It is very clever and will give those projects so much meaning for you. Gotta love a "helpful" kitty too.

Love your variety and enthusiasm! Thank you for the peek into your craft space! I used to quilt and even won a blue ribbon at our community fair. Perhaps you've re-ignited an interest for me again...I generally read most when I'm off camping somewhere and cross-stitch when I'm not. Your cat at the end has me rolling 😂😂. He’s the best. I can’t wait to see the progress on your rose Quaker. That is absolutely amazing. Your Taylor themed stitches and quilting are fabulous! With you on the no buy. I also want to save for stitch con, I feel the same as you though. Happy with my stash and I’m not sure I really need to buy all that much outside of fabrics and fancy flosses. Also woohoo to being caught up on your reading goals. You’re amazing, love you so much!

I love your idea for the Eras quilt. I saw someone doing the crochet blanket but also don’t use my crochet blankets much. So I’ll just wait for you to figure out all the details and then buy your pattern. Love it! ❤ This will be a cool way to remember the concert with my daughter. We had so much fun and love seeing all the videos as other people attend.

I understand your changing between knitting and cross stitching😊 it is easier to Pick up a knitting project if you just have 10 min to wast than a cross stich one😅 love your videos!

Since starting quilting this year, I've only finished one quilt top, a few BOTM blocks and bought several quilt kits...do I need another? No, but the Eras quilt is calling to me! Love the way your brain works, ours are very similar...craft ALL THE THINGS!

I agree, Dance of the Burning Sea was the best of the three Musai books but they were all interesting. And the ending was 100% satisfying. Loved to see your projects, crosstitch and otherwise! I have kind of lost my stitchy bug for the moment so it's nice to get a bit of inspiration to jump back in :)

I was just checking KZfaq last night for “Quilttube” as I enjoy the friendly little chats on flosstube about patterns and projects and progress and hauls but I was just getting tutorials. It definitely is a harder craft to showcase but it was great to hear your projects and pattern making.

Lol!! I'm glad it was coherent enough to follow! Talking about quilting (which is essentially colorful geometry) in the abstract seemed like people would just skip though it! It's really fun to have a mystery quilt going that nobody knows how it'll turn out!

Still recovering from the fact that you read 12 books since your last video 😱 Love to see the knitting and the quilting! The Ranunculus for your mom is so pretty; I’d love to be able to do one like that when I get a little more confident knitting garments!

Lol, me too! I don't know what possessed me recently! I actually highly recommend the ranunculus, it's my first ever garment and it's been very easy so far! Garment knitting still scares me though!😂

DFW has quilt shops. Suddenly Sewing, Sew it Up Bernina, Quilt Among Friends, Berry Patch Fabrics. Those are all within about a 30 min drive of downtown Fort Worth. Dallas has more shops as well. I know of at least one library in the metro that has its own long arm quilting machine (booked up months in advance typically) as well.

Love the Rose Quaker conversion! Such a fun way to reimagine it. I’m intrigued by Greenhouse of Oddities. Looking forward to seeing parts revealed and people’s stitching. Also can’t wait to see your stitching on Spring Moon, I think the Oyster Shell is so pretty with those colors and the darker magenta floss. So impressed with all your reading! I’ll have to check out Funny Feelings, needing a good new contemp romance. And The Echo of Old Books sounds right up my alley, I haven’t heard of that one but sounds so good, maybe it’ll be my next audiobook!

WOW... all caught up with you. Love to quilt (although it has been awhile), read & of course cross stitch. Just finished all the Harry Potter books, reading (for the 4th time: Gone with the Wind). Also some more Agatha Christie.

@@TheMuseumStitcher In 2016, I had a New Year's Resolution to read all her work. Have read ALMOST everything Agatha Christie ever wrote (now about 3 or 4 times). Never regretted that resolution. She never fails me !

I have the same problem with hand sewing where the needle bites into my finger. I just tried some ThimblePad stick-on leather drops that I received from Fat Quarter Shop in a box. They are fantastic and you won't even know it's there. It has literally saved my fingertip!!

Ooh I'll have to try those! I tried some of the plastic thimble pads, but they kept un-sticking and I was too aware of them! I just added them to my cart for my next purchase, thanks for the rec!
