Hey y’all! I’m Brijin (bridge-inn), the Museum Stitcher! In this episode, I'm recapping my experience at Stitch-Con 2023 along with all of the goodies I started and purchased while I was there! I am still loving all the StitchCon recaps. It sounds like you had so much fun. Your finish is gorgeous. I just got Away We Ride and can't wait to start it. I need to finish another project first though. Your yarn is gorgeous and I'm really excited to see how that beautiful bluey/purple works up in that fun lace pattern. 🦋

Congrats on the one year and StitchCon finish! Im very behind on Greenhouse, working on being mostly caught up because it is such a fun stitch. Also I love Sulky threads, they have some really nice variegated ones too I just did a WIP parade because I wanted to see and touch everything and while I’m not ready to UFO anything, it did help to see what I could finish/was neglected.

would love to see a WIP parade from you soon! 🦋🦋🦋 so glad you enjoyed stitch con, i cant wait to go one day since i dont know anyone irl who stitches. current book im reading is The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon. its a behemoth of a book but im about 75% of the way through. not sure if i will tackle the prequel anytime soon, i plan on reading the Throne of Glass series next! i really enjoy reading fantasy books the most 💛

I am so glad I got to meet you at Stitchcon ,you and your table mates were a riot . yes I would love a whip parade or kit parade either way🦋I just finished Da’Katz by prairie moon ,continuing working on the cricket collection the witches and I’m going to be starting a blackbird design . I have several kitted up I’m not sure which one I’m gonna start I guess that’ll happen when I get home. I’m at my trailer right now. See you soon

That one plant on the ground is a Welwitschia mirabilis. They can get extremely old. Or that is my guess anyway😁.

Always enjoy a WIP parade, especially as your work seems to differ from things I would usually choose for myself. Currently stitching while catching up on your stitch con joy…. Hope you get to do that again as it sounds like you absolutely loved it. I’ve got a birthday start planned (Sing a Sampler series from Silver Creek Samplers) but haven’t actually put a stitch in it yet, and we’re about a week past my birthday already. Still you can have a birthday MONTH right??! I dont know how to make a butterfly but imagine one here …. ….. got it? Good lol take care, Nic x

I am glad to hear that you had an amazing Stitch Con experience. I audibly gasped when you showed the greenhouse mystery stitch along. Your stitching is perfection and oh, so beautiful. A whole year of Flosstube! Congrats. So happy you enjoyed Stitch Con. Have only gone on quilting retreats & do remember how much fun they were. I, of course, would cross stitch at those, along w/quilting. Some day I will go to a dedicated stitching retreat. (Pearl just cracked me up!)
