Hi! Thank you. I'm hesitant to use thread conditioner or wax on case it discolours over time as I don't necessarily wash my projects when they are finished. Damp sponge might be a good option, I'll give it a go! Thank you 😊

Hi Michelle, I can send you the details by email or on Instagram if you drop me a message either to stitchbunnyshop@gmail.com or my insta @cross_stitch_bunny the fabric I'm using for the whimsical alphabet is actually a defective 16ct and the seller is aware of the defect (it's not 16ct both ways) which they confirmed to me in an email that they know it's defective and that it's manufactured that way that it isn't a perfect 16ct but yet they still sell it as an Evenweave fabric with "uniform holes" without any warning of this defect which I find very dishonest so I don't like to promote them. It is pretty fabric but you have to be very selective with what you stitch on it. I bought a lot in one go unfortunately and then didn't realise the issue til I stitched a circle design that turned out to look squished into an oval many months later. I am just using up what I have & if you're stitching things that are like small individual motifs like my Alphabet the problem isn't too noticeable, but if you stitch anything circular on it or square etc it will be very obvious as the design will end up distorted into an oval/rectangle instead. Or if you stitch something larger than a small sort of ornament size you'll end up with it either being noticeably taller than it is wide or wider than it is tall depending which way you have the fabric orientation. If you still want the link to buy send me a message but just be aware the larger the deisgn you stitch on it the more obvious the problem will be ☹️

I know so many people use a conditioner, I'm just always a bit apprehensive about the long term affects and if it will discolour the threads over time so I'm wary to try it out. Especially if I was working on a hand dyed or printed fabric that I can't wash I'd be worried!

They are F1 Cockapoos. Freya is a cocker spaniel & daddy is our poodle boy. ☺️
