It took me a while to find a really good dinosaur pattern 😄 I'm a little over 50% with it now, I'd really like to get the entire thing finished for Christmas but not sure if I'll manage it with both part 1 and 2!

I'm on 0.69% so far 😆 started last night.

Ive started in the middle Anita but I'm going to do it all including the background or I'll feel like I've cheated 😅 also, I'd be stressing about her outline looking neat if I don't so the background. I've put in about 2500 stitches so far & I'm enjoying her ☺️

Hi 👋 it's such a shame about no longer having pattern only options but totally understand the reasoning. I'm very happy with my kit and can't wait to stitch her 🙂 with the gift boxed kits already being slightly more expensive than the alternative (where offered) to account for the lovely box, I would assume the delivery charge is to cover the external packing and the delivery service (mine arrived in a standard mailing bag similar to what I use to post myself). I paid £8.76 delivery in total once I got to checkout and the cost of the mailing bag and the delivery service itself doesn't equate close to that given my own experience with my own online shop and the dimensions/weight of package with the various services available for fully tracked and insured service with RM. Obviously I was still happy to pay it otherwise I wouldn't have made the purchase and I'd pay it readily in the future if there is a design I'm in love with, but I do stand by my assessment that to me the cost seems a little steep based on how much you can actually post a package of that size/weight for by a safe and insured tracked method. The kit itself is beautiful and I'm very happy with what I received which I think was quite clear. I'm starting her tonight! 💖 Thank you, Lauren.

@@CrossStitchBunny OK thank you. I will review the postage costs and see if there is a way of balancing them. The counts sizes all vary in weight so i will have a play and see what we can do to improve it. The cost does have to cover the time the staff use to pack too, but as said I will see what we can do to help further :)

That's a really good idea. I don't travel often but I'll have to remember that for next time as it would have been nice to take a project with me.

Which lady are you working on? A new start is always exciting but if you can control the urge and finish something first that's probably a good idea. I've ended up with too many WIPs because I keep starting everything & finishing less & less 🤦‍♀️

@Cross Stitch Bunny Ivy by Nora Corbett. The stitching is all done ,so is few beads,she's been in thus state for over year and half. Only needs beading a bit..1 or 2 sessions ,going to try and finish soon . I don't like having too many wips I feel guilty and it's a bit overwhelming 😅

Thank you! I was surprised with how much I managed to get done for the month. And yay to stitching with no goals for a while 😆 I'm looking forward to the freedom of it. I might come back to setting goals next year depending on how I feel at that point but I'm excited for just randomly pulling WIPs that take my fancy for the time being 👍

I am leaning to a centre start I think 😄
