The quilting project case you made is so pretty and it turned out so good - I love the fabric you chose. Your Snow Village and applique blocks are looking so pretty. Yup, we like to cut up fabric and sew it back together, haha, great definition of quilting. Thank you for another great stitching update and I hope you have a fantastic week. Wow Christine you are so talented, I am making a quilt with some liberty fabric that my son bought me as a gift, as you know it is very expensive and I am using a ruler to maker sure I don't waste any of this precious fabric.

Hi Boys ! ! ! Your blocks are so cute . . That Amethyst Bag is amazing. Wish I could make something like that. Oh my hubby is the same way. When he is talking about my quilting, he says that I take a perfectly good piece of fabric and cut it up into little pieces to sew it back together. Yup, that's about right :) Ohhh I'd love a new ruler .

Could you make the 4 rectangles of the sturdy insert then make a tube of fabric to slip it through adding velcro on the ends so you can stick the two ends together to make a square that you can just slip inside the carrying case? You could even put velcro on the outer side of the rectangles so that you could velcro it to the side to keep it in place. August is our birthday month! Ruler !

Christine - yeah! TY. Do not apologize for your ums. We all do it and I was an English teacher. Hey since my birthday is the same month as yours, we are the rulers of August! No rush on shipping. We are still on a summer long trip AWAY from the AZ heat. Currently in IL, onwards to WI and MN. Then we'll fly home to PHX for a couple of weeks for house / family commitments, then right back to MN. Hugs to your puppers and a Hello to your Mister.

I was getting excited too! I had to cancel my spot though. Josh is scheduled to be back in port by late August and will have time for us to come visit in September. He can't determine exactly when, so we cancelled all plans and commitments to keep the month open to go visit him. I hope to get to the retreat one of these years!

Had to laugh. I had almost the same conversation with my husband years ago about quilts. “You mean you cut up fabric and sew it back together to make a quilt. It’s already together”???

@@StitchALLTheThings he also doesn’t get why I buy fabric all the time. When I was sewing more than I do now I was always buying fabric. He’d say you have fabric and my reply was always “what’s your point”
