I too am enjoying making tree ornaments. I actually can,t help going over to the tree and oogling over them. Your finishes ornaments are gorgeous. When your video pop up, everything comes to a halt and I watch.

You should be excited about your ornaments. They are fantastic. I didn't participate in the Jingle Ball but it sounds like everyone had a great time. Thank you for sharing the information about the Curly Girl Kitchen. I am always on the hunt for recipes that will work well in high altitude.

Hi Christine. Yr applique block and ornaments are lovely. I didn't go to the jingle ball. I don't do baking for Christmas. I usually just buy mine as it's just too busy. All the family come to us every Christmas 🎄. Anyway lovely to catch up with you. Take care. Xx

I just love all your sewing projects. My goal for the next year is to not start more sewing projects than I finish. No worries about not mailing yet😊 I did a little bit of the ball. I have some decorations up. I will only bake the day before Christmas. I don't stitch samplers 😅

It’s so much fun to see all of your projects! Gives me some great ideas for finishes too. I was not able to attend Jingle Ball because of schedule, but I’m planning to next year! My mom and I always used to make a whole slew of cookies, so I’m planning to do that with my daughter, but we already made a gingerbread house!

Oh your finishes are the best. I made cinnamon rolls from scratch today. The family ate all but one. I did not partake in Jingle ball. I’m trying to find none sugar recipes to make for Christmas. I will still make the real McCoys for friends and neighbors. I have a pecan cookie that is fabulous, fudge, English Toffee, divinity, Christmas Crispy Treats, brown sugar candy, sugar cookies, in past years date candy. Lots of pies. Love the Gingerbread wool quilt. Have a great week.

Couldn’t do the jingle ball this year. My mothers 90th birthday was the 1st…big weekend of surprises and family getting together. I’ve got my eye on the gingerbread wool appliqué. Have until January 15!

Yes I went to the jingle ball but was not in the mood for all the side festivities this year. Took 3 classes and the 2 free ones. I’m also in that club from Silver Needle.

I was at the jingle ball Friday night for my class with Jeanette Douglas and then for a bit on Saturday morning. Then the weekend got busy! Lol

I went to the Jingle Ball both Friday night and Saturday. I took the pin making class Friday night and did my shopping. I tried to get Teresa Koguts Special Delivery Santa’s, but every time I tried the pdf was sold out. Bummer! I don’t know if I’ll be doing any baking this year. I made a lot two years ago and most of them went to waste so last year I only made a few and they went to waste too. We’re just not cookie people, I guess. Pies are more our thing. Happy stitching!

I am just getting started doing wool applique and wonder how experienced do I need to be to do the Gingerbread Quilt? I absolutely LOVE it (Gingerbread is my favorite part of Christmas!)

I think the Gingerbread sew along is one that a beginner could do, especially since Vicki is posting helpful tutorials to go along with it! She has a lot more embellishments on her patterns than I am used to doing, and I've done Wool Applique for a couple of years. So I'd say I'm just at a an Intermediate level with this. All the embellishments can make it look overwhelming, but when you just take it step by step, it's not that it's more difficult to do it's just a bit more time consuming because of all the fun additions. With her patterns I have taken the approach of: "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time."
