The part that takes me longest is picking out the coordinating colors. Thanks for showing how you do it. I’ve done a couple like yours and a long one. They are fun!

I so understand and can relate to your feelings about glue! Keeping the cellophane on the block is perfect. Of course, I never thought to use the styrofoam blocks. So many stitchers use the wooden blocks, which I like for the weight but I don’t like gluing my pieces. Your way works for me! Thanks for sharing.

Great tutorial! I like to use a ceramic tile to protect my surface from glue. I got a 12x24” one and put some flannel on the bottom of it to prevent scratches on my surface. The larger tile means I have plenty of room to spread out all my stuff to be glued.

I am new to finishing do I need to iron the fabric first? The second question can I put the feet on before the ribbon? 1 more question I know you can buy purse feet can you use those also. I love your finishing ideas keep them coming

If your fabric has wrinkles, then yes, I would press it first. If you are putting skinnier ribbon on and it does not cover the area where you are putting the feet, then yes, you can put the feet on first. Yes, you can use purse feet, you will likely have to use an exacto knife to precut a slit for the purse feet though.
