Hi, Lauren, its good to see you again. I loved the Bothy Threads bunny, you completed. It turned out beautiful! And your other progress, on your wips is lovely. I like the Welcome to the Forest. I will have to buy that one. Instead of french knots, I always sew in beads, instead. Enjoy your retreat, I can't wait to hear about it. Can't wait to see you again!

Hi Lauren, good to see you back and I’m thrilled you got a last minute place at Nobam, looking forward to meeting you in person! I’m going down on the Thursday (19th). Your dream almost came true for me at Nobam in June because I left all my stitching rolled up in a pillowcase on my bed and only realised when I was stood on the train platform and noticed it wasn’t sticking out of my bag like it should have been! Luckily hubby did a mad dash home for me and coupled with a late train, all was well in the end 😂 Your Wrendale looks fantastic 👌🏼 and I don’t think I’d seen that haul before 🤔 Emma x

I'm arriving on Friday! Hopefully fairly early but I'll have to do the school run first. Sounds like you narrowly escaped disaster in June😅 I haven't shown the haul before, you're right! I realised afterwards that I had shared a photo of a couple of the charts in a group chat with a few ladies when we were comparing recent purchases! That's why I felt like I'd shared them before 😆

The contrast is how it should be, and I understand because I felt the same way while stitching my first Soda. It looks fantastic only when you finish all the backstitching. The rest of the time it all feels sketchy haha

Ah! I just bought floss today for the Winter Solstice from Joan Elliott so I can cast on soon. I opted for a dark blue instead of the black.

It's such a beautiful design isn't it, I'm super tempted to start it this year but it might have to wait until a few more finishes are under my belt.

I found the skin on my “Clean Day” was a very strong pink that was called for on the darkest skin shade, so I swapped it out the 352 for 3771. Much happier with it in the end but I’ve seen a few that used the called for and it does come together in the end.

Thank you! I've never seen a finished sofa stitch that I didn't like so I'm going to trust the charting and wait and see but it's reassuring to know that it's not just me 😅 I'll see how I like this one finished, might sub on future ones depending on how it turns out x
