Flosstube Episode 20: Stitching, Skiing, Country Sampler Tour

Our adventures continue…. Join us as we show my fully finished cross stitch projects including a comparison of small pillows with polyfil stuffing versus stuffing with lizard litter. Also, included is a thrift store wooden tray turned into a charming wooden frame. There are some finishes that won’t be fully finished until similar projects are completed. Exciting new starts are planned and explained and we have a picture tour of Country Sampler in Spring Green, WI. It is definitely worth the trip. Finally, we recap our not so snowy cross country ski adventure at ABR ski trails.

Love our tray finish! It is awesome!!! Thanks for the wonderful tour of Country Sampler. It is definitely on my Bucket List. I really want to go to their open house one year and stay over a night. Just need to find a stitching buddy to travel with me. Hugs from NE Ohio.

This was my first time seeing your channel and I really enjoyed it. I vote yes for the peeks at stores, we don’t really have options where I am on the East Coast and it’s fun to see how stores look, what they carry, etc… in different parts of the country.

Lovely to see your stitching and to hear the two of you, you complete each other wonderfully. To answer your question, yes, your photos and your stories of needlework shops are welcome. I for one am watching flosstube from Romania - Eastern Europe - and we only have haberdashery shops here, but cross stitching is not a thing so I have to buy everything on line, except for floss .

I enjoy seeing the shops you visit on your travels. You will love the Silver Needle, I could spend hours in there. The Shepherd's Needle in Little Rock is also a fun shop.
