I was 15 when Quatro came out ...the whole album rips ...I ended up winning front row seats to their show at the Newport ( Columbus , Ohio ) at the album signing ...still got my autograph ..

My red pill began when I was 15!!! Thanks to all the thrash metal, death metal, old school metal. Got me playing the bass! SLAYOOOOR was the first real metal I found in bro’s tape deck mix tape w megadeth, the 80’s & 90’s metal was far beyond its time!!! While my peers were listening to Tiffany I think we’re alone now & Debbie whatever F her name is I was listening to thought provoking, moving, give me chills technical music!!!!

This album was a must-have, non-mainstream choice for every metalhead back in the day! Like "War Of Words" by Fight... very metal, awesome perfection! I had it on cassette, remember those?! Lol!

by today's standards, yes, this isn't great. But this came out in 92. How old were you then? were you even born? And at the time there weren't shit tons of massive metal bands to choose from. I'm still a fan of these guys. They are hard working, great performers, and the songs have meaning I can relate to. So, yeah. Thats why I buy it.

What I remember is how ahead of their time their sound was...it hit hard and production and guitars and this really heavy chug crunch! I don't remember any other band at that time sounding like this.

Fantastic track / video from an incredible high point of this legendary Metal band, "Cuatro". I saw them tour for this album too, with none other than Chris Poland's DAMN THE MACHINE opening for them... and to this day, most people are unaware the 3rd song, "The Message", was co-written by Chris Cornell (R.I.P.).

I just went & seen Testament,Flotsam and Jetsam & 4ARM in Toronto on Feb.18/2013 & get to the venue to find out that Overkill had cancelled the rest of their tour dates because Overkill's lead singer Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth has pneumonia.But Flotsam and Jetsam were amazing live & really played a killer set! As well as Testament & 4ARM.

I got to meet these guys at Chuck Landis's Country Club in LA a couple years before this came out. My mom owned an indy metal label back then. One of her up and coming bands were with us that night. They were all surprised that after being signed for two albums, the guys in F & J still had day jobs. A carwash in Phoenix, if I remember correctly. I also remember them being really cool and down to earth.

Flotz were great in Thrash form or more Grungy Heavy Metal form, they're still one of my best metal acts ever. Even new albums are great! Consider, next song on "Cuatro" album - "The Message" was co-written by Criss Cornell.

Erik AK still has an incredible voice. I dig this entire album. These guys were starting just as Metallica was breaking out. The only similarity is the song structure and quality mastering. The BIGGEST difference is that these guys keep putting out great albums that are metal. Unlike some other bands. I would really categorize (if I had to) Flotsam and Jetsam in the same boat as Testament. Both GREAT bands that just never got a real break. But have stuck to their guns and put out some great albums for true metal fans.
