Hi I’ve now made my first papers After watching your how-to-video and I ironed my paper before removing it from the fabric and then pulled the fabric from the paper insted of the paper from the fabric. This gave me a compleatly flat paper. Thank you for a god tutorial!

Pls try some things that don’t involve cutting away your beautiful deckled edges!!! Aaaa As an artist who has to buy artpapers, that edge is the mark of mold-made page, and people pay extra for it because you can’t replicate it well by tearing it and stuff if you want to keep a “natural” edge. As an artisan, I understand your style varies, and this was a gift for someone also with a specific style. but if you sell your paper or journals crafted with it, please please please give people an option to keep the deckled edges. They are literally so pretty, especially on a paper that is so naturalistic and includes dried flowers!!! Aaa!!! This paper is so gorgeous and my heart skipped a beat when I saw you pull the pages from the sheets, with how intricate and beautiful the flowers inlaid were. Absolutely amazing work

Ah! These are so cool. I esp love the memo pad. The poem paper turned out so great, and the poem itself looks great on it. (Also "who doesn't love mushrooms?" part kinda made me laugh because I have a phobia of fungus.)

Your paper is so uniform. Looks beautiful. Have you ever tried blending fresh flowers with the pulp? I've done this with red roses (petals only) and they made a beautiful soft pink paper...I dropped dried rose petal in the vat and I'm really pleased with the results... Just wish I could get my sheets as uniform as you!

i was struggling with my 30 yrs worth of notebooks and books that i need to let go since we're moving to smaller house.. and then started thinking maybe i could still recycle them since some of them has sensitive information.. then i cam across this channel which is absolutely making difference.. love the way you re-purpose used papers..

Hi there! I just wanna ask, how do you lift your deckle without the pulp tearing apart? Like, it perfectly stick to the cloth! I'm really hoping you'll answer this! You're the one who inspired me to do recycled paper!😊

What helped me was to use a see through fabric made of plastic. Also it needs to be tight, floppy fabric ruins the paper. Make sure you soak up the water at the edges especially. Hope that helps

hey!! i know you probably won't see this and i don't know if you take suggestions or not and you don't have to if you don't want to because i can tell this takes a lot of hard work and time but it would be really cool if you made a notebook inspired by ranboo's memory book, it's a brown minecraft book and quill with the words "DO NOT READ" written on the front, and if you would like to do this (which of course you don't need to at all, i don't want to seem like i'm pressuring you in to doing anything) i would suggest putting a little ":)" on the first page and if you used the audio "fallen down" from undertale it would drive an entire fandom insane, i would explain why but it takes so much time, if anyone reading this wants to know why i would recommend searching "fallen down undertale" on youtube, and choosing a video with a smiley face and a crown, people will most likely be explaining it in the comments, have a good day everyone :]

I saw someone pour the pulp directly into the mould & deckle so that they didn't have to scoop anything. Before they pulled it out of the water, they spread it out & placed the flowers and decorative pieces whatever they wanted them. Your paper turned out so good! What towels do you use? Those look really lightweight and perfect for drying. Sorry if you said in the video, I missed it if you did.

An intriguing idea for an unconventional material to make into paper could be "Mushroom Fiber Paper." Inspired by the unique properties of mushrooms and their ability to form interconnected mycelium networks, this concept envisions harnessing mushroom fibers to create a sustainable and versatile paper-like material. The process would involve cultivating specific types of mushroom mycelium, such as oyster mushrooms or reishi mushrooms, under controlled conditions. These mycelium networks naturally bind together to form a dense and fibrous structure. By carefully processing and compressing this material, it could be transformed into sheets of mushroom fiber paper. Mushroom fiber paper would offer several advantages. First and foremost, it would be an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional tree-based paper production. Mushroom cultivation requires fewer resources, such as water and land, compared to the long growth cycle of trees. Additionally, mushrooms are known for their ability to break down organic matter, making the material potentially biodegradable. Furthermore, mushroom fiber paper could possess unique properties not found in traditional paper. The interwoven mycelium fibers could provide inherent strength and durability, while also offering natural resistance to moisture and insects. This could make it suitable for a wide range of applications, from packaging materials to specialty papers for artistic endeavors or even biodegradable textiles. Exploring the scientific viability of utilizing mushroom fibers for paper production could lead to innovative sustainable practices and open doors to new possibilities in the field of biomaterials.
