കൊച്ചി കായലിൽ ദുരൂഹ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയ മിഷേൽ ഷാജി ഇന്നും ഒരു ചോദ്യചിഹ്നമായി തുടരുകയാണ്. 2017 മാർച്ച് അഞ്ചിന് കാണാതായ മിഷേലിന്റെ മൃതദേഹം പിറ്റേന്ന് വേമ്പനാട് കായലിൽ നിന്നാണ് കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഏറെ കോളിളക്കം സൃഷ്ടിച്ച മിഷേൽ ഷാജിയുടെ ദുരൂഹമരണം സംഭവിച്ച് ഏഴ് വർഷങ്ങൾ പിന്നിട്ടിട്ടും പ്രതികൾ കാണാമറയത്ത് തുടരുകയാണ്. മിഷേൽ ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തതാണെന്ന പൊലീസിന്റെ വാദം ശരിയല്ലെന്നും കൊലപാതകമാണെന്നുമാണ് പിതാവ് ഷാജി വർഗീസും കുടുംബവും പറയുന്നത്. നീതി ലഭിക്കാനായി കഴിഞ്ഞ ഏഴ് വർഷത്തോളമായി നിയമപോരാട്ടം നടത്തുന്ന മിഷേലിന്റെ മാതാപിതാക്കൾ ഫ്ലവേഴ്സ് ഒരു കോടി വേദിയിൽ എത്തുകയാണ്.
