In the second fight Nanami and Yuji jump him and they both would have lost had it not been for Mahito touching Sukuna's soul twice

I love that the series lulls you into forgetting the Jogo is extremely powerful, since we've only seen him fighting Gojo so far... So it makes sense for him to body a grade 1 sorc. But immediately after we get to see someone that would easily body him. I love Gege's power scaling.

I love watching the numerous reaction channels around, but I seriously think you three were only ones who immediately felt and reacted to the gravitas of Jogo arriving.

Nanami did so well against mahito during their first encounter because he was just born recently. While he at that time was shown to be the weakest, as even itadori held his ground, Mahito also has the highest room to grow. During his second battle with sorcerers he learned domain expansion on the brink of death. Gojo on the brink of death learned red/purple. Nanami even notes that Gojo and Mahito are similar in the anime. We also saw this in the first episodes of shibuya when he fought mechamaru and discovered new things about his abilities. Jogo is the most powerful by far for now, but poor guy was always fighting gojo, and now he has to fight sukuna.

Currently Jogo is the strongest of the Disaster Curses, it’s just that most characters in the verse would look weak being Gojo’s punching bag.

I don’t know if you guys remember but In season 1 Nanami mentioned that Mahito was still young and learning his powers, that’s why he wanted to exercise him so quick before he became what he is now. Nanami was only winning because Mahito had no battle experience, these curses are special grade for a reason.

Remember that was Mahito first fight and he was still learning his technique. Mahito was playing with Namami while also testing how far he can go, also keep in mind that Jogo is the current strongest disaster curse.

I think the most satisfying thing for me this episode was Maki witnessing someone else from the same clan straight killing it without cursed energy. Letting her know what she’s working towards is possible. I know it put the battery in her back to go harder. 🙌🏾✨

They mentioned way back that Mahito was a newly born curse and so when he fought Nanami that was essentially his first real fight. They mentioned that he would grow powerful at a very fast rate, and so he has grown much stronger since then.

Itadori took 10 fingers at once? Wow, most people can only handle one or two. I mean, what? Megumi holding back Dagon's guaranteed hit definitely helped. But this just puts into perspective the power gap. Two first grades(one who was the second fastest NEXT to Gojo) and two semi first grades were all jumping Dagon and kinda losing. 4V1 and Dagon was holding his own. Toji steps in and obliterates him. Takes a tool from Maki and gets to work. In HIS domain. Absolute monster. Now, even crazier, we see another power gap. Jogo has always been in fights against Gojo. And everyone seems weak against Gojo. But here we see him against opponents that are not on Gojo's level. And he literally speed blitzes three of them before they can comprehend what just happened properly. Being weak against Gojo does not mean you're weak in general. Nanako and Mimiko. Two girls who were abused and mistreated but rescued by Geto. They wanted to put his body to rest. To get that brain out of his body. But it didn't work out that way. Sukuna heard their pleas and killed them anyway. R.I.P. Dagon, Nanako and Mimiko. Just goes to show, he isn't on anyone's side but his own. He is not some protector of Yuji at all. And now he's agreed to a deal with Jogo. If he can land one hit on him, ONE, then he will do as the disaster curses want. Obliterate every last human in Shibuya. Aside from one.

Don't worry guys, we went through the bad, the worst is yet to come and then the horrible followed by misfortune

One thing is that no matter how many evil Sukuna does, he has that sense of honoring Jujutsu. We've seen that before back in S1 while he sliced that special grade curse. I really want to know how was he as a human (probably a great sorcerer). Man, If he has a really dark history and story behind why he died and turned into a curse, I'll be so down to invest in that. Him saying things like being the "unwanted child" adds up in an interesting way to connect the dots to his past life. He's rather disciplined as a curse. Maybe that's just a 'king thing'.

It took me an hour to get through that episode bc I keep rewinding to watch every scene 3-4 times. This show just legendary
