We are actually fishing with a friend of ours who is guide this weekend we are using live skipjacks free lining them under balloons

I use 5x liter with 5x tippet. I tie on different flies but what I was using in this video is a lightning bug nymph. And about 20 inches under that fly I use a yellow or pink egg. With a bead on both flies. The bead helps them get to the bottom faster. I also use a strike indicator about 20 inches above the first fly. If you go to the tellico outdoors before you get going up the mountain they will give you some help with picking out flies. And some awesome tips. Goodluck to you man. You got it! When I started I just bought a cheap starter kit, it’s not a bad place to start, you’ll learn a few basic flys and you’ll get some material and a very basic vise. The only downside is when you really get into it, it gets expensive but that starter vise should last awhile I still have mine from when I was like 16 and I’m 31 now. I’ll price some out and may send a starter kit as well.

when they stock frozen head in the spring in summer you might like fishing there it's smaller than telico in width but it's a pretty fun place to fish and it's cold enough to hold trout but not cold enough to need waders
