Fly Tying Emerging Midge (With Trailing Shuck)

4 жыл бұрынWhen midge are coming off the fish can get a little preoccupied with them and they can be difficult to tempt. This is an east to tie option that can sometimes save the day, best tied in #16 down to #20. You can vary the colour to suit your needs but one to reach for when the Trout are ignoring everything else.

Just come across this one from the archives and just the thing for my local Stillwater. Size 18-20 olive emergers are needed right now, so this pattern looks like a great one to try. Thanks Lindsay!

CDC rocks, I like that you mentioned to use two tips even on small flies like size 20. 🎣

I like it to float, I never use just one tip.
