My friend was applying for the Fire chiefs job in Key West. I had breakfast in Orlando, lunch in key west, and supper in Orlando. That was great.

Kim is the best spokesperson for Bose Aviation and she never had to say a word about it.

I got an “Invite” to the Keys in 1965 by the U.S Navy. NAS Key West on Boca Chica was my first duty station after finishing boot camp in December at Great Lakes. It was a welcome change of weather and scenery for 8 months waiting for my Aviation Electrician training at NAS Jax. After Getting my AE wings, I got stationed at NAS Cecil Field, also located in Jacksonville Fl. I was one of the lucky ones to spend my 4 year enlistment in Florida during the height of the Vietnam war. Thanks for another of your great videos that brought back great memories for me.

My wife and I were just there a few weeks ago. The Conch Republic Seafood Company was awesome. Cold drinks , excellent atmosphere. Key West is our favorite get away in Florida.

Is it still so much fun to negotiate passage around NAS Key West @ Stock Island/Boca Chica, for 27 or 9 at EYW?? I remember that well used "Cubana" fire training airframe, left over from a '70s hijacking... Flew down their once, just to have dinner at Captain Bob's, then go bowling next to the airport... (lowest score paid the charge for the Avgas on a 1969 PA23 Aztec....) Enjoy life while you can, and 'go for it!', because old age sucks... Ode to the 1970's version of Key West: The "Red Garter Saloon", is in the former Key West Movie Theater (Truman Annex area); and by the way, what in the h*** is a "Cuban Bagel"??? (I lived in Homestead, and worked summers at the Southernmost, when Ben and Ruth Mazar owned it/sold it/then purchased the Travelodge on United, directly behind the Southernmost). Breakfast and lunch at Dennis's Pharmacy, on Simonton at United. Dinner at the Italian Gardens/Cuban Sandwiches at the 4th of July on White Street, pizza at the "Pizza King" or "George Mira's Pizza Huddle". Saw Truman Capote and Tennessee Williams walking hand-in-hand on Simonton towards the Turtle Kraals. Chased a Hemingway cat once, and filled in for the first mate (as well as I could) for Bill Wickers Sr., on the Sandy Bill II (damn fine fishing)

Selecting an IAP fix on the selected approach loads the full approach. Should be standard operating procedure. Vectors to final should not even be an option in the flight plan / procedures page.

Not a lot of runway. I can’t imagine those 737’s could take full fuel out of there.

This is nice, usually they only video the flight from take off to landing and thats its basically boring but when you show a little of the interior of the trip and the restaurant and food that you are consuming now you are adding entertainment, you forgot to video some food that are served in these restaurant, I still like it give you a B.

I would tell my girl to get off that cell phone and start looking around the area for other aircraft. We are taught this in 101 flying.
