Something I found works since fm20 is that if u r winning and u get worried that the heads might drop during the match, Praise (shout) them. Its must if u r winning and r in the 80 minutes.

regarding Encourage shout before scoring the goal, just pause when the ball is in the net and go to tactics and cancel tactics changes :)

How is that wonderkid CB only a decent Bundesliga 2 player? He's got 13/14s or higher for all the important physical attributes, most of his mentals are 12-16, and has very solid tackling, good first touch, good passing and excellent technique. Sure the marking/heading a little low at 11, but I am sure there are worse Bundesliga players than that,.

@@ikechuwufinnian6382 yup, they pop up like any other team in the job center. but managing them is an absolute headache. since you're the "B" team coach, you don't control scoring, transfers, or even which players are available on any match day. ur a coach in the most literal sense: u only pick the tactic and which of ur players play in that tactic.

Hey Zealand There is a tip about encouraging in highlights Just go to a tactic screen after encourage and tap “cancel”/“discard changes” button, then game will cancel that encourage and you will be able to praise your players another time after goal😊

Yeah, Premier teams usually are the best at scouting in my game too, but I usually beat them by buying the kids shortly after the transfer windows are over if they didn't buy them yet. Most clubs won't try to buy players out of the transfer window.

You can actually cancel encourage shout if you score but go to tactics before kickoff and press cancel , that cancels encourage shout too

I've found you can cancel a shout (regarding the encourage then your team scoring). If you quickly click on tactics which pauses the action, the 'cancel changes' should be selectable, which will cancel the shout.

Pro tip, if you have made an Encourage/Praise shout (any shout really) and your team scores/concedes. You can cancel it if you immediately pause, go into tactics and press cancel changes. Doing a shout counts the same as a tactical change, so you can just cancel it the same way you can cancel tactical changes.

I think there's a curse regarding the encourage shout: if you encourage during a highlight, the opposition team will score. I think it's because the game wants the encourage shout to take effect, so the game makes you concede a goal, after which is the best time for an encouragement.
