And this time you got it right! This is the most power commercial crossbow pistol currently available on the market today. I've heard it can produce 34 ft lbs of kinetic energy. So it's a beast.

Man good review! That guy at The Water Swatters has been killing deer with these little bows but he isn't much on reviews. Between his videos and yours I think I need one of these bows!

I have that bow and the original one and I love them both, the rev. I had a problem with the first two a couple months ago I think I was the only one in the country with it, the string broke first shot first time and second one about ten shot, I had to wait months for another one and finally got it and I have shot it about 100 times and no problem and I love it. The original no problems why so ever and have shot it 1000 times. The rev. Is way stronger and I like it better but I would say to buy extra string and bow press to have on standby just in case, so my option is buy them bolth like I did the original is lot of fun to shoot in the back yard and can take way more shots

Thank you so much just found your videos. I am here in Arizona in the states can't even think of using a powder burner inside my home for protection. I have been leaning towards a crossbow and you have a winner here. Hope they ship to the states.

Looks like a great bit of kit i like the pistol ones i don't have a big enough garden for full size ones they're too powerful for the amount of space I've got so prefer the smaller ones.

mate I bought FMA supersonic AR XL. My opinion is that crossbow is nice toy if you shooting at 20yards ,not more. Bolts are so light , it's fun using this but nothing more. If u looking for real fun just go buy compound or recurve one with 400+ FPS .

I don't think so as it felt really smooth to cock and didn't feel like anything was grinding.

You might be able to with third party bolts but as far as I know the supersonic bolts have glued in tips.

Hi Is this the same as the Ballista Bat reverse? The bat also has a magazine (extra) that holds 6 bolts. Is there a magazine for the FMA?

Yes it is, Exactly the same.Mini Striker, Balista Bat, Mamba, and one other name. All the parts are interchangeable.

Some comments here kind of make me take a step back saying it doesn't fire FPS as advertised. So now I'm thinking I here draw back is what counts for power and though only 10lbs more is the Cobra Adder a more powerful crossbow let alone being a repeater? Thanks

@brokendrummachine2539 I’d go for the Stinger 2 Tactical and also purchase the 150lb limbs for it. Here is more food for thought the Stinger is made in Austria the Adder in China. Saying this I just the Steambow Onyx which is on sale at Silver Archery for just over £500 including shipping. I love the cocking mechanism plus it’s far more powerful than one of the pistols though at some point I shall get the Stinger 2 tactical with either 120lb or the 150lb limbs

Yes, they are made in China. They go by several different names. Mini Striker, Balista Bat, Mamba. I can't remember the Chinese name that starts with a J. They are pretty cool. Even though I don't own one.

It is possible make that crossbow shorter. There is no need need to add more length because the draw length of the bow.

The Ballista Bat is 120lb (150lb limbs optional) which shoots 13" (33cm) broadhead bolts. Am I mistaken or is that still the current best?

The FMA, Ballista Bat, and Mini Striker all appear to be the same bow sold under different names in different countries. The FMA seems to be the Euro version.

Just wondering with all that power how long the strings last - my concern would be you would have fun for a few hours, burn out the strings and have to fork out silly money to get them replaced. Any able to say how how longs strings last on this bad boy?

If properly waxed I think you could use this for months. The strings are quite easy to change though it's just getting hold of the string which is the issue.

420 fps with pencils... Yeah right. The string doesn't last and is a real pain to change, and the limbs crack. The Cobra Adder makes more sense, and it's a repeating crossbow...

This all depends really on how often you wax the string. If looked after properly you could get 100+ shots.

Haven't officially tested it with a chrono yet but manufacturer has recorded speeds up to 420fps with the high range bolts. It has some crazy power for the size.

You are probably not getting anywhere near 400fps, closer to 270 with 120lb limbs
