My concrete mixer was produced by the Lesney concern in 1968. The model required a basic renovation. There were no parts missing. I painted the whole thing with Tamiya paints and made a box as usual, similar to the original one.

Excellent job Paul. I have 2 of those trucks with superfast wheels, n both of them don't have the yellow spiral plastic thingy over the axels. Hmmm....

I restored a Superast version of this truck. You are not missing the spiral on the second axle. It was deleted by Matchbox and the base redesigned for the Superfast version as a full length green plastic piece. The cement mixing barrel still has the gear on the end, but it is not connected to anything. Cheaper for Matchbox to make the same barrel.

Broken pin on the barrel seems to be a common repair. I restored a Superfast version, and tried glueing a piece of round Styrene plastic rod to fix the pin. Works ok.

muszę przyznać ,że Ty i kilku innych zagranicznych youtuberów zainspirowało mnie do odszykowywania starych resoraków z mojej kolekcji, ba nawet oststnio udało mi się zdobyć forda capri z serii super kings i po remoncie wyszedł mi świetnie, chętnie obejrzał bym np jak rekonstruujesz modele polskie plastikowe i czy w ogóle jest szansa poza dorobieniem brakujących elementów przeprowadzić profesjonalny remont, pytam bo mam kilka sztuk i przymierzam się by podorabiać brakujące części jak zderzaki i koła i chętnie bym podpatrzył kogoś z doświadczeniem

Na razie porównywałem tylko plastikowe polskie kopie matchboxów z oryginałami. Plastik jest dosyć ciężki do naprawy ponieważ tak czy tak na końcu trzeba wszystko pomalować. Może skuszę się w przyszłości i odmowie jakiś polski kioskowy model. Pozdrawiam serdecznie

These models will be too big to queue. I suspect you are building a H0 scale model so you need to have 1 to 87 scale models to fit it. Best wishes

Witam. Wszystko zależy od stanu modelu. Czy posiada oryginalne pudełko. Jeśli tak to na pewno nabiera jakieś wartości. Wydaje mi się że w stanie kolekcjonerskim to kwota powyżej 50 zł. Pozdrawiam serdecznie
