If a GPS tracker could be put on one of these it would be intriguing to see their range, flight paths, and find out what they feed on regularly. It would also be interesting to see what kinds of diseases they do or do not carry.

Heavy and amazing at the same time. Fascinating how they speak about how they study them! You feel the excitement and the passion. If everyone was like this about what they did, world would be a better place.

I’m trying to reach that photographer guy we have batts in Hawaii that you probably never saw before they’ve been isolated here for so long who knows how they got here
@joshdewitt8796

yeyo those would be hoary bats. Hoaries occur in most of northern North America so it’s like some were blown off course and landed in the Hawaiian Islands. Hoary bats are really strong flyers are it’s very likely they migrated there.

Omg one time a bat got into our house at 1 in the morning. I was asleep trying to rest for school the next day and there is commotion and my whole family of six was up at 1 am trying to get this crazy thing out. We tried to get it out but it kept flying upstairs. We ended up throwing a bunch of baby toys at it and we had to do him in.

So, you carry rabies-infested bats with your bare hands without warning your viewers not to do so? What if people, especially kids, just did the same as you did?
