He isn’t the only way we get pearls though! Sometimes youll grab one while diving. They’re just rare.

I saw the scallop and when I pick it up pascal spawn behind me, and when I give it to him, he swims away. I followed him and he didn’t saw me and he started to hit the scallop and eat it.

Don't forget Pascal will only show up if you have an empty slot in your inventory for it

For anyone who wants to know. Programming is why the baloons shrink yet pascal doesn't. The balloon in code, is the same type of object as a thing you drop on the ground, fruit from a tree, or even the present itself. What happens when it lands somewhere that it cannot bounce to a free tile? It shrinks away into nothing. Thats the same function used everywhere they need to remove an object. Thing is characters and villagers, in code, are not the same object, so when they need to be deleted, they wont run that same function cause its not there. Furthermore it has to be this way. Villagers as game objects do get created and deleted, but they never have to do so on screen. Items, do need to be deleted on screen. A character gets deleted when they pass theough a door and can no longer be seen. Or when you leave the zone they are in. But items can be deleted by map conditions. Now you know. :)

You can get pearls just by diving. It is pretty rare but it does happen

It is NOT the only way to get pearls. You can dive and find pearls as well.

Just mentioning Pascal is not the only way to get pearls, I get them from sea diving here and there because I dive daily until I get Pascal for more pearls or for mermaid items

You can actually get pearls while diving for small shadows but it is extremely luck and rare if this happens but its almost impossible to get by diving so maybe just do pascal.

Because you can get pearls from diving for a while and from Pascal it just depends on when the Pearls spawn on the ocean floors since they are rare to find on the ocean floors most of the time.
