I have a very good stabilize feature. This show , i was really moving. I said in another comment that it was a miracle the clips came out as still as they looked.

Funny! When they played at Gilford, NH I filmed the first 20 secs opening riff and my phone was all over the place… then it went away to just get lost in moment!

I was of the same thinking until i saw this live, and i want people to see what i saw. Especially when its something as spectacular as this. Everlong is number one on my list. Its a great song.

I agree. Taylor played it just like the album. The fills are off when Josh plays them. We'll see if that's intentional or not.

It's intentional. Freese is one of the best drummers of his generation and a professional session guy, if he/the band wanted to play it like the album he would. He's putting his own stamp on it, which is cool because he an incredible drummer

How so?

well, got no issues with the tempo, but these Everlong fills are among the very first any intermediate drummer learns - and so should Josh... You cannot leave out the lower toms :-)

He's one of the best drummers in the world, he's not playing the fills like the album because they want him to put his own stamp on things, not because he can't. If you go to a live show and expect things to be exactly the same as the record, just save some cash and stay home

As has already been said many times, Josh Freese is one of the best, most respected drummers on the planet. He can play it any way he chooses. If you prefer Taylor's take that's fine, but don't make the mistake of thinking different = bad, or that difficulty has anything to do with it. These songs aren't difficult to play for a professional musician.

This venue is tiny, so the audience is small, not weak, and they don't have to scream at the top of their lungs because they're 10 feet from the band.

Thanks. I try to film as i would want to watch it. Ill eventually get a little better equipment to get better footage. 🤷 loud sound or the lights freak out my camera. Its nice when they keep the lights up
