We tried bucket composting, in which food scraps are composted in a bucket.
Last time, we used rice bran to decompose food scraps. This time, we tried to decompose food scraps with cattle manure, which is rich in microorganisms.
Bucket composting will fail due to decay if you are not careful about the amount of water.
We were worried about the smell of cow manure compost, but it did not bother us at all.
For the decomposition experiment, I started with just a handful of food scraps. If you cut the food scraps into small pieces before starting, I think it will all decompose in about a week! (^^)!
