I marvel at how self sufficient and capable these women are. Closest you can come to this type of food is to shop at walmart and let your sweety take it out of a box and warm it up in your new convection, air fryer, induction stove top range!

Working with the cabbage Making the bread , fetching the water! ( I'd have to take a drink right from the well!!!!) So fresh, clear, cold refreshment! When you read my comment, you'll notice all the extra that is done, just to eat. While I'm.grateful for my way of life, as it is ,now, I have also lived with pumping your own water, yo cook. Wash do laundry, bathe. Our clothes were hung out on a line, bread was baked.... Venison canned. I miss that. We see you working so hard, but its second nature to you. Your days must be long.
