The Conference League has already provided Irish clubs our strongest performances in Europe for a while. Although Shamrock Rovers remain the only team standing, 1 round away from the groupstages, Dundalk and Bohemians gave amazing accounts of themselves against Vitesse and PAOK respectively. The Conference League is already a success in my eyes.

I go to my local team who are in the conference north and it is nice to sit and watch football without all the frills and overpriced food and drink. Making it to first round proper in the FA Cup is a dream, this Uefa Conference league gives that sort of vibe so its good imo, be nice to see teams from all over and learning about new clubs. It's the love of the game.

The Conferance league is the only likely way teams from the league of Ireland and teams from other smaller nations will be able to compete regularly in European football because they simply cant compete on a financial basis with the elite of Europe which is growing year on year.

Romanians have a very strange relationship with anti-Semitism, and by that I mean that many people just tend to brush it aside as long as someone's name pops up on the news or in a history book consistently enough. Another politician may have openly praised or stood by Antonescu, so this example actually feels very mild as a Romanian

This was the best and most thought provoking thing I've seen for a while. I got out of the UK because of the way things were going, as did a lot of people, not just EU citizens, on a scale well beyond what is being widely reported there. I've seen an estimate of 1.3 million, which might have something in it and explain the current empty shelves and unharvested crops. However Moldova lost a third of its population? Wow! The exodus from the UK was/is on nothing like that scale. When I look at the UK and see the almost daily steps back towards the dark ages (the utterly pointless restoration of imperial weights and measures anyone?) I get depressed and angry, but it's nowhere near on the scale of what has happened in Moldova. I don't know whether to feel reassured and think the situation in the land of my birth is not so bad in the grand scheme of things or whether to look at the abyss that is Moldova currently and despair at how bad things can get without a turn of the corner being forced. Not bad for a video which when I started watching it I assumed was all or mostly about football.

Could I get some opinions on this. I’m Australian and the first football fan in my family. When I was getting into football we had a foreign exchange student from Munich who got me into supporting Bayern. This was at a young age and I’ve only started watching the games over the last few years. It comes today when I’ve became more passionate about Australian football that I’ve learned about the likes of Harry Kewell and Viduka and how good they were at Leeds and it has made me fallen in love with the club.
