Miroslaw Klose is an ethnic German, who was born in Silesia (Peoples Republic of Poland; = PRP). Calculated from the from 12th century to the year 1949, Silesia, was mainly a part of Germany. Ulrich Klose (born in the German Empire), is a displaced Silesian German person, and was the First Mayor of Hamburg (FRG). Lukas Podolksi was born in Silesia (PRP) too. Podolksi has a Slavic language Family name. With Angelique Kerber, born on Gut Karlskrone (nearby the River Warthe, PRP) it is a very equal personal story to Miroslaw Klose! Breslau, the capital of Silesia, has its "Olympiastadion", despite hosting the "World Games", of the (currently) non Olympic sports, of the year 2017, which were held in the Republic of Poland!
@pulsaris34232 ай бұрын
@@maikotter9945 Miro's father Josef Klose is a German Silesian; his mother Barbara Jez, however, is an ethnic Pole. We also do not know the exact ethnic make-up of his paternal side regarding cultural intermingling; considering that his paternal family stems from Oppeln/Opole, a region that even in 1905 had a Polish majority, and his paternal grandmother's maiden name being Panek, there's a pretty good chance that his father also is of a significant Polish descent.

a lot of these players were children of professional players who were playing in foreign countries when they were. born, even Ronoldo's son was born outside of portugal(in the USA)

Cameron Carter-Vickers was also born (and raised) in England. His father was an NBA player from the United States and met his mother while playing in Europe at the end of his career.

I actually hate how many of European top players are africans, who could play for countries of their birth and make African teams much stronger. But they prefered money.

A lot of them do end up playing dor african countries though, like hakimi and mahrez

Not about money. It’s respect for the country that took them in and provided them the conditions to become top footballers. It’s not Europe’s fault that most countries in Africa are corrupt and terrible. There’s no middle class is most African countries. Either you are rich af or you have close to nothing. That’s on the government and their mentality.
@darkknifepony69222 ай бұрын
@@AllMenMustServe You are telling this to a guy who got a degree in international relations specializing on Africa. Of course, I know what's wrong with Africa. And, by the way, if they want money and personal prosperity, they are still playing in European clubs and make as much money as African people have never seen. But as for the national teams, I don't get it. I mostly talked about them. I think France is already can be counted as African team and (maybe we should let them play in AFC, not UEFA, lol). They had only 3 players who were French on the last World Cup. I think it's totally unfair. Because of the money countries like France pay for buying players citizenship. Even their keeper must have played for the Philippines but they bought him and he got a French citizenship. So, I think such practice must be prohibited.
@AllMenMustServe2 ай бұрын
@@darkknifepony6922 buy citizenship? You’re crazy. You only have to live and work on France for 5 years legally to get a French citizenship and you’re legally able to represent that country. That happens in almost every EU country. And regarding France’s case, most of those players were born and raised in France. They share the French culture and lived there all their lives. Went to school with French people, have French friends and probably one of their parents are French too. Why would they represent other country if they feel like French? It’s just human nature. Even if you’re Chinese but you were raised and lived all your life in another country, you feel like you belong to that specific culture and you’re more than happy to represent and give your heart out to represent it the best way you can. Judging by your logic the USA wouldn’t have a single national team from any sport since their country is basically formed with emigrants. They’re a mix of every country in the world. So if every one of them decided to represent the country from which their roots are, bye bye USA national teams. Again, if most African countries were even half decent enough to make their own people want to stay there, this probably wouldn’t happen. Same goes for many Asian and South American countries. It’s not a coincidence that people from Asia, Africa and South America come in millions to Europe and North America every year searching for a better life. Don’t blame the Europeans or the North Americans, blame on their roots.

Camavinga was born to Congolese parents in a Congolese refugees camp in Angola, at 2 years old his family migrated to France. Citizenship in Angola is attributed by blood, meaning at least one of his parents needed to be angolan, that's why to this day, he doesn't have angolan citizenship, doesn't speak portuguese, and frankly, doesn't know anything about our culture and languages, he's just not angolan, plain and simple.

I always found it so weird how people have a problem with France having players who were from/born in Africa but never say anything about people like Jorginho, Shaqiri, or costa
@NoCluYTАй бұрын
Because of racism and a bit of jealousy. Those players of African origin tend to be the better players and they think it's an unfair advantage which is just bogus.
