3 жыл бұрын

Today I will cover two types of ASHI-SABAKI which I mentioned in my IAI exercise video.
When you master these, you will be able to respond to a variety of situations and they will help strengthen your body.
Let's learn and master them!

I have a boken, and I am looking to learn Iaido. I have ordered a Katana which is being made now, it will be sharp. Before I use it in training, I would like my technique to be as sharp as my Katana. I found your videos a week or so ago and am very impressed! I find your training and explanations to be very helpful. Thank you, for opening up this world for everyone who is interested in learning, and welcoming all. I like this for exercise, and to become a proficient practitioner of Iaido one day, and I look forward to achieving that goal with your guidance.

this is a great exercise, do you have some exercises for training battojutsu , what i mean (if im using a wrong word) the batto and attack at the last second and really quick, i now do 2 things to train : i stand still focus on my shoulders and when i feel im "ready" i draw my sword as quick as i can , but im always afraid i ll damage the "sharpness" (mine is not sharp but its about the technique) i also try the quick small steps and when i reach a pole i draw and stop the sword a feet from the pole do you have any exercises i can do? thank you

This video answers questions I had from watching and practicing video Iai exercise #1. Now I have better understanding. 40 years ago I trained in Taekwondo which helps in understanding a lot of body positions. Therefore, this video is a great companion to the first exercise video. Thank you 👍👍👍
