Looking back at S1, there's so many gags they wouldn't do in the later seasons. i.e. Mark & Jez prank calling Sophie while watching her from her garden! S1 had an almost Jackass/juvenile vibe which was very funny, but couldn't continue if the show was to evolve as the characters got older.

You guys are gonna go DEEP into UK comedy during your look at this show. By series 4 and 5 they've hit on any number of dark and disturbing areas, and then it gets amped up a bit...

Every season of this is comedy gold, %100! Also, incredibly it just gets better and better. P.s. Why has no one (Yankee Doodle Dandies) reacted to "The Mighty Boosh" yet?! Also its only two seasons. The second season is seminal for the comedic prowess they exude. TBH though, im not sure if they (Yankee Doodle Dandies) will understand the genius. Just a thought. Peep Show, The Mighty Boosh, Red Dwarf, Blackadder and Spaced are quintessentially awesomely "based" British humour..... Anyway, im glad you are enjoying Peep Show😊.

They did try to make an American version of Peep Show. They filmed the US pilot, which is on YT somewhere if I'm not mistaken (or at least there is a vid about it and why it didn't work out).

I enjoy your reactions, I feel like some of the humour isn't translating in this though, like Mark's huge balls comments not getting a hint of a smile😄. But maybe some of it is quite UK specific in its tone.

I had a hydrocele but it wasn't so quickly diagnosed. I went to the doctors, they thought it was a hydrocele but sent me to the hospital for an ultrasound to be sure. About a month later, I was sent to another hospital for pre-op. A week or two after that, I was in for day surgery. I was put to sleep for about 2-3hrs. I woke up with my balls bandaged and I was unable to wash that area of my body for 2 weeks, which is the worst part of it. Totally painless. It's all free too. Welcome to UK health care. Always check your balls. If one appears different to the other, book an appointment to see the doctor. Mine appeared swollen. By the time the surgery came around, one was about 3 times the size of the other. I'm glad it wasn't anything serious.

Love your reactions to British & Irish stuff. I’ve never seen US sitcoms push boundaries as far as - although many are magic - take that back - cartoons like family guy do.

Check out”It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”. They push plenty of boundaries. IMO, the best comedy ever. Peep Show is up there too.

A couple at work many years ago said that I reminded them of Mark Corrigan !! 😂😂.Not exactly a compliment but it was the key to me discovering this wonderful comedy. I think Mark often means well, but often his good intentions fall apart due to fear, weakness or selfishness. I suppose I've been a bit like that. 😵‍💫

Season 2 ramps up the cringe another notch, and season 4 onwards is a total cringe fest...Can't wait to see your reactions....I have binge watched this show at least 9 times so far.
