I am 63 years, young and I can remember in grade school saying the pledge of allegiance every morning before we started class. And it is so refreshing to see congressman senators before every hearing pledging allegiance to the flag.

First principles is what founded the nation. Saying the pledge is rooting out the evil before our eyes. For anyone with a differing religion, and a good heart, would recognize that a blessing from god is still a blessing. That a promise made to him, is a promise made to the highest order in their opinion, regardless if you don't believe.

It's interesting how God came up today. I'm grateful I have a sister in law that didn't listen to her doctor when he said she should abort her child. This child, now an adult, a mother, the valedictorian of her class, served her country and a devoted Christian is a blessing to our family. Her children as well... doctors are NOT GOD! NEVER would Thomas Jefferson have pledged his allegiance to a f'ing flag! Under God was not added to the pledge of allegiance until much later, long after it was written. It was actually written by a Baptist socialist, and if I were a Christian I can't imagine pledging my allegiance to a flag. Especially a flag that no longer represents freedom. The fact that America and the American flag are synonymous with freedom, has led to the American people not knowing what freedom actually is. I don’t believe our immigration system was broken. I believe they kept saying enough ppl believed it. We allow approx 1 million people a year to become legal citizens. We have to be able to healthfully and financially acclimate new people. Some have been working here for years , some 10 years and are awaiting citizenship. If we can handle 2 million then congress that year can only raise it by 1 million for every 2 or 3 years to make sure we can still help our own needy.

No it ain't supposed to be you making a choice it's supposed to be you going to your constituents and listening to what they have to say to know what they want and then you representing them and what they want not what you think.
