Ford Coyote V8 runs 9s and drives 3500km home

Daniel's Bluestreak Performance Coyote 5.0L V8 Ford GS Ute has become the quickest Coyote Miami motor FG Falcon in Australia. The car is upgraded with a Keene Bell 2.6L supercharged, E85 fuel system and upgraded 6spd auto transmission. After the completion of the Ford Forum Nationals at Heathcote Park Raceway Daniel proceeded to drive the car 3500km across the Australian Nullarbor Plain back home to Perth.

You can actually still run it on 98, Run the car close to empty on the e85 tune(Not ideal but it works), when It's about to splutter (Throw some jerry cans of 98 in, plug in the sct handset and throw in the 98 tune and baby it for a few hundred kms)

***** E85 has a high octane rating. Something like 113-115, as opposed to BP Ultimate which is 98. You can get a 12:1 ratio with 20psi of boost on a fuel like E85 if you've got the cooling for it.

Why jump on a band wagon when you can take a less common but proven car like the GS 315 which like the Xr6t is ridiculously detuned from the factory. They only run 3 pound. Turn them up to 11 PSi with a set of injectors, Walbro 460 cat back exhaust, inercooler, larger throttle body and you’ve got a reasonably reliable 430-450 rwkw.

Reading some of the comments re E85. Did you ever think that it could have more than 1 tune available? Flick the switch and you run pump 91/98. ( It's called mutitasking in computer/PLC speak.

ford USA were so stupid not to sell utes or v8 sedans. they would have made a killing. GM were stupid not advertising the SS, it was better than a M3 BMW for less money.
