Great vid, helped a bunch. I did the install and on my late 2021/2022 they had some changes. Rivits on the bottom and I also did not have a washer for my front camera.

Just put my intercooler on my 2021. Well ford decided to go with rivets on the very bottom of the shroud instead of bolts. So I had to cut them off. I didn't need any bolts to go back since it fitted very tight. Your video helped a lot. Thanks

There's a lot of disturbed, pressurized air on the bottom of the bumper while driving (especially higher speeds) so there's a chance there's a lot of vibration affeting that part and we know that vibration aint usually good. Plus, if you leave the car, and there's some massive wind going on, if it just hits your bumper right from below, it might rip it out, so yea, I'd put some bolt in, just for the peace of mind.

5 Star tuning! I Got a 91 octane tune corsa exhaust and just did the whipple intercooler, the same day I installed the intercooler I took it for a test drive and happened get into a race with a Scat pack challenger and put it to shame👌 and FYI I'm averaging 25 mpg and it's over 500hp

@@FatGuyBuilds I’ve had PBD tuning on two cars - my ST being my 2nd. The only thing I’ve changed is the HPFP (swapped to the XTreme DI EVO) and I’m running E85 with PBD’s tuning. I’ve gone 12.29@110.47. My best 0-60 is a 3.98. I’m about to install the Whipple IC - as soon as I get it back from the shop. I’m having a little something done to it before I install it😁 Should put me into the 11’s🤞🏼

Do all of the mods you put on void your warranty? I just got a 2023 explorer st and wanted the turbos to sound a bit louder. I always put k&n air filters on my cars but never did anything besides that. Also do you know if this one will fit on my 23?

the only mod i every got any grief on from the dealer was the catch can. everything else is no problem. either way with our laws the dealer must prove the mods caused the engine failure to deny warranty.

yes, stops heat soak. increased flow = better efficiency = better mpg (1.5mpg) is what i saw. i took everything off my explorer and sold it. if you want to buy my stuff at a discount, let me know. jasongeorgievski@gmail.com

no, it would be impossible for a dealer to prove that lower intake temps destroyed your engine. also doubt anyone at a ford dealer would notice it isnt stock.

5 star would be the only company that you can trust. Run them on my raptor after 3 others could not tune a race block.

No issues while running this without a tune ? Also would this void warranty if you don’t tune it .

no. if anything it makes the chance of blowing up your motor lower. lower intake temps means a safer engine.

Man you’re right! So what is the point that ford putting a small intercooler instead of that, it’s a great car but needs some customization for it , i like the car but idk how to get the parts outside the US and install it damn

They do it to lower the cost of production. 1 intercoller assembly line.

You can order stuff from US no problem and any decent mechanic should not have a problem with any of the Explorer mods shown on this channel.

You better have gone with Adam from ZFG tuning! That guy seems like he'll bend over backwards to get you a custom tune to what you want. I mentioned I was worried about snapping the driveshaft, and he said he could "turn the torque down" to lessen the chances it would happen...

still have not got a tune yet. i will be using ZFG
