@nhrafan12 It's actually a regrind. It was done by Oregon Cam Grinding. It cost me $135 with lifters, so it was hard to say no. This one is the #1268. They had one that was more aggressive, but this is plenty. I do like the choppy idle it gives, and was my only reason for getting it. Very similar specs to an Isky 280.

Sounds awesome with the open headers. I really wish I could do the same to my truck but sadly I have the efi system and would only be able to cut up around where the oxygen sensor lives.

It still has pretty good power from idle to 2k, just a little less than it was before the cam. I actually spun it to 5400rpm last week.

@bigblockpower09 It was all pipes I got for free, so I used them. It's dual 1.75" from the header, with glasspacks. Only temporary.

@badass657 Well, it is a 6 cyl with a 4bbl that's running a bit rich.

The body parts are off of a 72 F250. The cab & frame is still 67. Long bed, and just the cab tank.

I have seen that build. I just didnt like the idea of having to modify the pressure regulator. Thanks.

@bigblockpower09 I'm not keeping it. The 300 is coming out for a diesel, the 6.6 Ford in my other videos.

@tractorguy58 There's plenty of cam choices out there. Keep your eye on fordsix, and you'll be fine.

call comp cams tell them what you want and they can recommend one or custom grind one for you and put an exhaust system in that helps alot

with all the EFI engines out there no one really mods a Ford 300CI EFI. Wonder what cam would best serve my EFI straight six... Fordsix does not have much info on that...

I did see a video where the put 302 injectors and regulator from a 302 on. But that doesnt make sense to me. 302 injectors would be smaller. The cylinder is smaller in a 302. thus a smaller injector. I would just get a set of Accel injectors for that application. How ever the pressure regulator makes sense. Higher fuel demand for more cylinders. I found that running premium gas makes it alot stronger and i get awesome gas milage
