I drove a box truck like this but no air brake. That Ford motor was pretty strong it I liked it

I believe with a vehicle like that, it’s all the axle rating. As long as none of your axles are over loaded (truck and trailer), and each axle has independent breaks you should be good to go.

What year is your 750? Any idea what it ways empty compared to the 650 empty? I'm trying to figure out if it better just to get the 650. It's not rated to haul as much but it's lighter so it might off set.🤷‍♂️

21. Not gunna be much difference in weight. Mines 17k with 8 yard bieabu body

Do you have an air seat? If yes, does your head hit the roof? (How tall are you?). Do you ever wish you had an extended cab?

My head is very close to the roof and I have hit it before not often I’m 6 2 and no I am happy with the single cab

Ive got a f650 with a cat engine, 7 speed manual transmission, and air brakes. Id love to replace it someday. So would you recommend a f550 instead of a f750?

Yes and yes but my tool boxes would have to be cut off for the room

6.7 powerstroke. There are 3 different tunes you can get with these trucks. Mine is set up with the most torque

So , the 550 can’t tow heavy weight, but the 750 with same engine ( 6.7 powerstroke ) can ??

Yes. The 550 is rated for like 33k while the 750 is rated for 50k. Pulling has to do with a lot more then just engine. Frame, tires, breaks, transmission and more
