If you have Ford Focus and your car does not crank and does not start we will explain the top reasons that can cause a Ford Focus not to crank and not to start. Please help!!! I have a 2015 Ford focus se and its showing starting system fault. What could the problem be? that it’s not starting at all.

Yes transmission control module for shot TCM. A COMMON ISSUE ford knew about and still let these cars in the market. 2013-2015 focus fiestas The TCM tells the computer the car is in park so it all turn on. Traded mine in took a gamble with a TCM from a junk yard. It wasn’t calibrated but got it to dealer. The part was 30,000 on back order.

If you turn key on look where it show a p n r d on dash if your shifter is in park but dash is showing diffrent it’s the TCM I would lean towards I spent $800 thinking it was other issues turned out to be a voluntary recalled part. I wanted to send the one I took out of my car to the ceo of ford. With a nice letter

I'm so glad you have these vids. I have a 2012 Ford Focus SE and its a huge steaming piece of S***. I hope the "engineers" that designed this car burn in hell. If they had these cars they would understand the unbelievable frustration they have caused. Never again will I buy a Ford.

I have had a non starting issue with my daughters 2012 Focus SE and having gone through starter, ecm, fuses, relay, three ground contacts, ignition switch, and having a locksmith check the key cylinder I now have it narrowed down to the ignition housing running from the key cylinder to the ignition switch as it seems worn and won't go to the start position. So have a new one and have the four screws removed but doesn't want to release, any ideas?

My 2014 Ford Focus stalling after each trip without warning without engine light. I reply the purge Valve but still same issue. I turned it on driving it and when I arrive shopping center and come back to turn it on it’s on and off immediately. I leave it for 10 minutes and it’s starting up. What do you think please?

Can you help me understand what could be wrong with my 2011 Chevy Malibu lt. my thermostat control module will shut off randomly and therefore my air, nor ac/heater will work. And if I tap the bcm it will kick on or off.

unfortunately he didn't replace nothing he just trying the parts that is selling to us from East Amazon store he actually didn't do nothing and I am and the problem a good follower I see all his videos but on this time he just selling the scanner so I called this a bait e video

I found out after removing all the spark plugs the head gasket had failed, water in the bore holes , I drained the car and it started , new head by the looks of it, I thought that I post this as no one has said about checking the spark plugs, they were dripping wet when I took them out. The F13 is your Starter relay. You may wanna check your R16 Ignition relay as well

So when you do the diagnostics, does the car have to be stalled? My Focus starts stalls sometimes then when its at the shop, it works fine haha. Its usually stalling more in cold weather and if the car is parked uphill.

sounds like a fuel problem I would check your injectors and see if your getting fuel or just hook up a scanner and check fuel pressure

Hi fellas I got a 2013 ford focus ecoboost, I got spark and the fuel tank pump is working, it seams it's got petrol to the high pressure pump, it cranks and its like if it's a starvation of fuel , it almost kicks but not enough, there is no codes on both my reader either. Any help would be appreciated, keep up the good work fellas

my car wont start sometimes and trying to figure it out, the battery was tested and is good and has been charged when died,when you turn the key all you hear is 1 click under the hood, i have jumped it even when the battery is full and after some time it will work, is my starter going or a fuse, its happened 2 times

I’m having the same issue! I replaces starter $230 I replaced the negative battery cable $75, replaced 3 relays one for ignition one for starter and another one for the ecm. That was about $60. Also lost time at work went to lunch wouldn’t start for well over an hr. Starts fine cold but when I drive it and turn off and go to start again nothing. Oh the battery is good and also would not start with jumpers on it. So WTF!

I’m having the same fucking issue right now, 2012 Ford Focus sel. 45k miles brand fucking new car my pap drove 12miles a day till he died, took the best fucking care of this car in the world it’s literally so mint that it has the plastics over the radio screen still. Like it starts perfectly fine in the morning but if I go somewhere like per say, I take it to change the oil at penzoil it literally turned off and on everytime they needed it to them when the guy says ok ur good to go. Fucking nothing for almost a hour, the radio screen said low battery powering off, and when you turn the key nothing happens at all no crank not even trying to crank, just nothing at all. And I just bought a new safety switch and I’m Praying to fucking god that this fixes it or I’m done with ford forever they can’t even tel me why it’s doing this, no codes showing up either so it’s a fucking guessing game…

@@cMRemus ford has a recall on transmission control modules on cars under 150,000 miles. Before I found the issue I did new battery, new starter, new relays for the starter, new ground cable. The TCM is junk it’s not telling the car it’s in park. Turn key on to acc then put foot on break and put shifter in drive watch the indicator on dash then put back in park. If the indicator on dash is still in D then that’s the issue. There are also another way to reset transmission found videos on KZfaq but didn’t fix my issue. My car had 149,000 miles on it.forgot to mention called local ford dealer they told me the recall is 30,000 TCM’s deep if that’s the issue and most likely is. I got one from a junk yard put it in drove to dealer traded it in. Shifted hard but got it running again

The issue here is the ignition housing wear. The key goes in on the right side and turns the key cylinder. The key cylinder turns the housing cylinder, this is the part that wears. The housing cylinder turns the switch. But if the housing cylinder is worn, the key cylinder won't turn it enough (the key cylinder is fine) so the rod at the other end won't turn the switch. It beats me why they didn't have the switch turned by the key cylinder.

My 2014 Ford Focus is doing this. The sensors report "starter fault" and I get that clicking noise under the hood, so I will replace the fuse and pray, or possibly fix the starter. I need that scanner. Is the link for it in bio? If not, please add! Thank you!
