Ford Mondeo Mk2 ST200 / Contour SVT / Mystique rear anti roll bar end link and bushing replacement

Күн бұрынThis is how I replaced the bushings and the end links on my Ford Mondeo ST200 rear anti roll bar. Unfortunately the both bolts holding the bushing braket broke, so it took a bit more time to replace. Normaly, when everything goes well, its an easy job and would not take long to do. When the bushings wore out they make noise at bumps. The rubber on the end links was cracked - so I replaced it with some new ones.

I wanna ask what's different between rear suspension for mondeo mk2 1.6 and st200 Because my brain is lost

Hi. The St200 one is with the sport suspension. Nowadays it really does not matter because you can't order anymore stock for st200 model. You can install both st200 and standard suspension on you mk2. They have same size. I recommend Bilstein B4 for sporty feel. Also I have lowering springs. -40mm Sedan and estate use different setup so this is the only difference i think.

Same happened to mine today so had to remove the sway bar for the weekend to get to work but what drill bits did you use and how long did it take to drill them out 😂

@@richardnorman1158 Sorry to hear that. Well, i used different size drills, started from smaller one and went on with bigger diameter. I used HSS-Cobalt drill bits. With brand new drill bits it will go faster, but i had already used ones so it took a while. Maybe 20 mins each :)
