In this video I show you how to replace your clutch and flywheel on your 1979-2004 Mustang. All of these years are basically the same with a couple small changes. This procedure will work for ALL 1979-2004 Ford Mustangs. I show you all of the wear points to inspect and what parts should be replaced while replacing the clutch and flywheel. The clutch and flywheel themselves are easy to replace but, unfortunately there is no way to replace the clutch without removing the transmission. Removal of the transmission is fairly straightforward but, like any transmission, it's heavy, and easier to remove if you have a second set of hands especially if you are working on jackstands.
