Ford Ranger Front Drive Shaft CV Joint Repair

Working on the Ford Ranger again today. We are one step closer to getting this truck back to 100%!!!!!!!!!! The front drive shaft was making a clicking noise and it turned out to be a bad CV joint. I replaced mine with a CV joint from a donor SUV at Pull-A-Part. This may be a cheaper option for those who are willing to take apart the old CV and can put a New/Used CV joint back on.
I hope this video may help you if you are in the same situation I was in.

Austin I like to wrap some tape around the universal joint caps so the caps don't fall off while your connecting the other end ,if a couple of the needle bearings fall out when the cap hits the ground, you've got a mess.

I wish I could give you an exact explanation, unfortunately it is kind of a slip together type of reassembly. It had to be twisted and position in just the right way for all the ball bearings to align with the curved tracks in the female end of the CV joint. It was a massive pain in the A**

Replacing the rear driveshaft on my 07 A8L. It's clicking badly. There's a lifetime Audi pulled parts here in NC. $170 opposed to $300-1500.

Damn bro we watched all that and didn't get to see the test drive to see if it was fixed you should of taken us on the test drive I watched it all and didn't get to see what I wanted to see the most if it was fixed you need to sharpen up your video skills don't leave us hanging like that we wanna know if u fixed it

I am still getting used to everything, this channel blew up faster then I was able to handle. I do plan to work on the repeating myself part though, but unfortunately that is kind of the way I am because of my current job. I literally repeat myself all day everyday and I HATE IT. I was waiting to do a test drive when the truck was ready to hit the road(now it is), I am sure you already know it been sitting for a while. I will go back though my up coming video and see if I can cut out some of the repeating, because I know I did it again. lol I get what your saying though, and I appreciate your comment! Thank you for the constructive criticism!

I know your new to this but you repeat what your saying way to much bro you say same thing over a hundred times before you do the repair work people ain't gonna watch and stay interested if you just talk and repeat over and over what your about to do just do the job bro that's what we wanna see not you talking our ears off about same thing over n over just letting you know bro I'm not hating on you
