They all get the oil from a couple of companies that produce the base stock. AMSOIL and REDLINE are the only ones I know of in 2020 that use a mixture of a second type of base stock in their blend for ultra high work loads, like drag race engines or Jet engines as an example. Other than that only the additives are different, they all use the exact same oil in every bottle from Mobile 1 to Honda.. Its no different.

Very timely advice for me, thanks. It was time to change the coolant in my '17 Escape and I had already bought the OAT Orange but I was able to return it and get the yellow P-OAT. It actually wasn't that easy to find but the dealer price matched the Amazon price. The Escape is a PITA to flush and you can't get all the old liquid out. I filled, warmed up and drained three times with distilled water before adding a gallon (plus a skosh) of the concentrate, which made it 50/50. That drain valve on the radiator is really stiff and hard to access (on jackstands at least). Took a freakin' bath!

@@miketonon7946 Well it depends on the coolant you use, in my case I generally do it every 3 years or so, sooner if i'm servicing something in the cooling system (water pump, etc) I don't often reuse coolant unless its fairly new, its cheap enough to where i'd rather have fresh. The Universal Stuff supposedly can go for as long as the DexCool crap from GM or Ford's Orange but depending on the mileage of your engine i'd just play it safe and do it every 2 to 3 years, on these Rangers its farily simple to do.

It’s a yellow coolant with dye. It’s the exact same product as the prestone coolant. There in no difference. Prestone told me they make it for ford. I’ve been using the prestone universal coolant for years on ford vehicles that have gold or green coolant as well. I completely flush them out and use the prestone or ford yellow. No problems with corrosion. It’s actually protects better than gold. If you have orange coolant in your system. It’s best to flush it out as soon as possible to reduce chances or clogged heater core or clogged oil cooler. It’s a bad coolant. Yellow really is the best.

Remember once the warranty is gone they don't give a shit. Why they say that coolant lasts. But with Heat and constant evaporation no coolant last forever. Like Ford and the lies with Lifetime fluids in transmissions and transfer cases. No such thing as Lifetime fluids. Only lifetime of the warranty.

I have a 2013 T6 Ranger (global) with the 3.2 I5 diesel engine (same engine as the North american transit). I replaced the orange stuff that the truck came with for the yellow coolant. I did have to flush the entire system. The local dealer recommended me to do it and I think is the better option. If a little of orange coolant stays in the system, is no biggie. So far so good. No overheating, the heat at the air vents is really hot (much better than with the old coolant) and no leaks so far. And, the yellow stuff looks and taste delicious 😋 (i tasted a little bit by mistake, lol)
