Here's how I launch my sti Pull up to line and stage Pull up parking brake Clutch in and get on launch control Slowly let out clutch until car starts to squat down in the back (this is preloading and it prevents the sudden shock) After it's preloaded drop the parking brake down and let the clutch up the rest of the way at the same time. Don't drop the clutch, let it out smooth, but quick

Yes to my understanding the sti has a much thicker core

Kit? This was with ID1000's and Walbro 255, but I've now stepped up to a Walbro 450 and an Aeromotive FPR to support my new turbo!
