This is the stimulus package forgivable loan for small business owners, independent contractors, and sole proprietors.
This is from the third stimulus bill from the Trump Administration. You can receive a stimulus grant for $10,000 as a forgivable loan if you make your application through the SBA, which is the small business administration. This is the economic injury disaster loan from the small business administration.
This is the stimulus loan, but in reality, the stimulus bill makes this a stimulus grant. Therefore, this is like free money to small business owners, independent contractors, and sole proprietors.

@@aryagivehchian8220 You don't have to be a U.S. citizen to get a payment. But you do need a valid Social Security number. That means immigrants with green cards and those on H-1B and H-2A visas will get payments. Nonresident aliens, temporary workers and immigrants in the U.S. illegally won't.

@@aryagivehchian8220 I'm not a CPA so you might want to check with someone actually in the finance industry but as far as i know only immigrants with valid Social Security numbers and people who qualify as “resident aliens” will receive the checks. “Resident aliens” are people who have green cards or people who can prove that they have been physically present in the United States long enough to establish “substantial presence,” as per U.S. tax law. But just because a person has a Social Security number doesn’t mean they automatically qualify. Jackie Vimo, an economic justice policy analyst at the National Immigration Law Center, said if the tax-filer’s spouse or child doesn’t have a Social Security number no one in the family will be able to claim the credit. For example, if someone lives in a “mixed-status” household - meaning that if anyone in the family (tax filers and their children) uses an ITIN - an individual taxpayer identification number - rather than a Social Security number, the family does not qualify for the relief payment. (The only exception would be if one spouse has a Social Security number and at least one spouse served in the military in the last 2019 tax year.)

News Flash. The SBA has just made up its own rule on the 10K forgivable EIDL advance. It will be 1K PER employee up to 10K for a max of 10 employees, and 1K for sole proprietors. This is totally at variance with congressional intent. Tweet yo SBA and your congressional reps!

It always stated "up to" $10,000. "Up to" means "You might get that much or less if you qualify". Not every business owner is "entitled' to a loan or grant.

This was told to me by the bank: We need answers to how this affects us LLC/Sole Proprietors without employees, who transfer money from business accounts to personal. Here's what my Bank said the SBA advised her "Net income is payroll ONLY for a sole proprietor. I was advised by the SBA this afternoon that businesses that choose to apply for the loan based on owner’s draws/withdrawals/etc. need to be made aware that these loans may not be forgiven as the draws/withdrawals/etc. are not yet determined to be part of payroll. Further guidance may come out at a later date, but it is not guaranteed."

If there is one thing we learned about our EDD and SBA system through all of this is that it is incredibly outdated. Neither offers an email confirmation upon submission. Hello 1999?! Imagine how much of their support traffic would get cut down if they just had confirmation emails, chat bots, live chat, email support, etc. Here’s a novel idea, millions are out of work so why not create some remote jobs to improve these systems? Government, what say you?

If you have not file your 2019 income tax, can you still just write the sales by month? (Do you still qualify for the grant?) or do you just write 2017 and 2018, I think you say they ask for the past 3 years correct? Do you still qualify if you don’t have a rental space?

If I can set the date for when the business "started", I should be fine. But if the stipulations for the small business stimulus loan ot loan state that your LLC or whatever have to have been established already in the past then I'm burnt. By established I mean, the date the LLC was formed. Advise from anyone is always appreciated, and I'll be watching the video

I just called SBA. As of today 4/6/2020 they are saying 2 x 3 weeks tell Loan officer emails you ans then IF you are approved 3 days to get $10k or loan. But they are saying that they still have to approve you for 10k. I understand that this is not what the bill says but thats what SBA is saying FYI. Good luck out there!!!

So I called SBA last week to followup on my application (submitted March 30 ) because they said 3 days they said next week, So I called yesterday and the SBA lady said to me to stop stressing, get over it the $10k isn't coming , figure it out (thats what her managers told them to say). I am sole prop food place run by husband/wife. And then I heard on this Clearvalue tax site that the "rules changed" for the EiDL... so I guess Its hopeless to think that any help is on the way. Getting a loan is just not feasible. You have no idea that you will have the business to pay it back. My landlord ( a corporation, SaveMart) they expect their rent. They sent out a letter day after CARES Act was signed and telling us how and where to apply for the $10k because it was to be used to pay: rent.They expect us to sign some negotiation agreement... even if they defer your rent, etc. So not realistic. I have only heard of one business in my town to have gotten some $$. Who knows maybe the rules changed again??? Anyone know?

Hi, I just want to personally thank you. This is the very first video I seen of yours and I trusted everything you said! I put in the application on this very day and as of today 4/20 I have money pending in my account from the SBA. For a pass through LLC if I’m using the sole proprietor form, do I also provide the same supporting documents as the business form? Supporting info, request for transcript, etc?

He said in the video the sole proprietors don't need the other forms, but on the sole proprietor application is clearly states under "Required for all loan applications" you have to fill out the 4506-T request for tax transcripts. I would send that in with it.

I have already shared your video to a handful or rideshare groups on Facebook to help many apply for this cause the title of this program says it’s a loan, and there are still people who argue and says it’s a loan and not a grant, but I know it’s a grant, just because I trust the source that I follow, but honestly, even to me it’s confusing, again, just from the name of this program! Thank you so much for all what you do. I would appreciate it if you could highlight for me, how is this a grant and not a loan just so I would understand it correctly better and clearly and explain it correctly to others.
